Ocean Pointe Suites in Key Largo is an all-suite resort located directly on the Atlantic Ocean. Our 60 acres in the Florida Keys are part of a protected mangrove forest, entered through a private road and gatehouse. From sunrise to sunset you can enjoy the many activities our Florida Keys resort has to offer. Fine restaurants and shopping are just minutes away, along with boating, fishing, snorkeling, diving, Everglades eco-tours, glass bottom boat reef trips, parasailing, wave runners, and swimming with the dolphins. Everything you could want for your Florida Keys vacation is here!

We manage several units on the property. All units are uniquely decorated. Guest bedroom offers the choice of 2 twins or a queen bed.

**Resort fee is currently $16+tax/night/unit and is payable directly to The Resort

Conveniently located just past Key Largo, was clean and served us well as a home base for a few days. We liked the water view from our room. Our kids enjoyed the pool at night after days outand it's nice that it's open until 11pm.

Nice spot!
Property managers were very kind and helpful, check in was easy and quick. Pool is clean and plenty of room / chairs for everyone (we stayed during the week.) The little beach is really cute. Food truck on site was a bonus! And restaurants nearby. Only mild negatives - no hot water in one of the showers (but unit had 2 showers, so it was fine,) and there are a lot of smokers on the property, people smoking in and around the pool, and one person was smoking in the elevator.

I made the reservation not knowing what unit we would have and I am happy to say all of the units (4) that I rented were upgraded and beautiful. The staff has been very helpful and attentive as well. We had an awesome time at Ocean Pointe. The grounds were beautiful. All of the staff and workers were helpful and friendly. The pool area was large, had great music, and even had snacks/drinks available. The beach area was also very nice. Our two bedroom condo was just the right size for two couples. The balcony was exceptionally small, however this wasn't a big issue as we spent the majority of our time outdoors. I would certainly come back and recommend this place to others.

Lovely but disappointing
The place could have been cleaner. The futon in the living room was grungy and uncomfortable. One of the hardest mattress we have slept on in quite awhile. The kitchen cooking setup was crap from a yard sale. This unit is not setup for extend stay; more than three days. The view and location were very wonderful.

I was SO impressed with Ocean Pointe Suites and all the amenities and comfort we received! My family and I couldn't have been happier! These condos are located in a great spot with a beautiful view and we did not encounter any issues for our trip. Honestly, this is a GREAT value! We have stayed in another resort in the Keys for SO much more money and Ocean Pointe has all the amenities that we need to stay comfortably. And I'm super picky!

Key Largo stay
We enjoyed our time in Tavernier. I thought I had booked a condo with a king and queen beds, but it turned out to be a king and 2 twins. Not ideal for 2 couples traveling. The television did not work in the second bedroom. The complex was nice and everyone was super friendly. I would book here again if I was in the area.

Nice place, not perfect for us
The condo was nice, but the third bed which is a sofa bed, was not comfortable enough to sleep on. The pool was warm and beautiful, but too crowded to use most of the time. Don't expect to bring 6 adults here.

Great communication especially for a very late check in! Description true to the post. Only comment floors were a bit sandy. Not too bad. But more than expected. Well stocked kitchen. Could use hot pads. Amazing view. Very comfortable beds!

Rental Needs Improvements
This rental did not provide adequate basics in the kitchen. For instance a cookie sheet or any type of pan to reheat a pizza in the oven. One garbage bag, only! I've stayed in many VRBO rentals, this one needs improvements. Was also advertised having a cafe on premises which was a main reason we rented. It was closed and under renovation. Someone should have told us that prior to staying.

Hidden Gem
Check in was easy. We arrived at 3:30, so we stopped in the office to let them know we were close by. Had a cocktail at a nearby bar on the water. They texted us at 4:45 that our room was ready. We had a comfortable unit with the best location in the resort. Steps from the dock, pool, and a cute little beach area. The condo was older, but updated. There were a few issues, but the management and owner were very quick to respond. The kitchen had enough dishes for 6 and was stocked to prepare a simple meal. The restaurant was not open and there were no open bathrooms close to the beach area. The pool was heated and there were loungers and tables with umbrellas. We found out we had to get there early to get a spot. The place was pretty busy. If you're looking to dock your boat, it is very convenient. We enjoyed our stay!

Short Stay at Ocean Point
Nice property to relax for a handful of nights. It seems like every view has an ocean view. Loved the balcony view of the ocean, or the black star filled sky from our 2nd floor unit. Saltwater pool was large and perfect for children and adults alike. We also enjoyed the tennis courts. The beach access, though filled with nasty seaweed, once you get past that, was a convenient entry to the mangroves for excellent snorkeling. Did not like that there was pressure washing going on at the stairwell during which we were trying to check out. This made it more difficult to get out by the 11 am deadline as we were forced to wait for the elevator each trip down.

The unit was run down and dirty. The dishwasher was broken and never fixed after we made several attempts. Cold water didn't work in the kitchen and both the bathroom sinks were leaking. Not what I would expect for the price.

We enjoyed our stay at this resort and our condo. The view was beautiful and the grounds of the condo were clean. The kids enjoyed the pool and tennis courts. We also liked the beach front and the option to rent kayaks and paddle boards. They had a bar/cafe at the pool and at the main building. Only complaint was that our condo's tile floors were not well cleaned. Our socks and feet were black from walking on it, and we ended up wearing our shoes the whole time. We also did not have any oven mits or baking dishes and had to use towels and aluminum foil. The condo office was able to provide additional paper supplies but did not have oven mits or baking sheets to offer. We would consider staying here again.

Better room upkeep
We had requested and I even double checked for the 2nd bedroom to have a queen instead of 2 twins. When we checked in the room had twins not a queen. They did move us to a room with a queen. The room was nice but the stove top needs a good cleaning with scraping of glass top badly needed. Also corner cabinet was broken. We did like pool area and resort overall and would go again. Wish there was a bar on bottom floor of restaurant to get a drink instead of having to go upstairs. There was one bartender on and he was very nice and very busy more help there would be nice.

When checked in notified desk that sliding door would not close, ice maker would not work, unit dirty, and toaster not working. They never communicated back anything and nothing fixed. We ended up having to get a hotel for the 2nd night. Very disappointed and when we told them again at check out all they said was we owed a resort fee etc. they could have cared less about the problems with the unit. Thanks

Customer service was poor and rooms were not clean
We stayed from a Friday - Sunday. Upon check in on Friday, I requested for a late check out on Sunday. The young lady at the desk advised us that late check out needed to be requested the day of check out. Sunday rolled around and at 2 o'clock in the morning we called front desk to request a late check out, we were advised that they were not allowing late check out. Called again at 9 AM to request late check out and we were advised that "unfortunately, we cannot accept ANY MORE late checkouts...all other customers NEED to be out by 11". Also, the hotel room was not clean at all. The bed sheets were dirty with stains and hair. After our stay there, we all had little bites on our body. After a deeper search, we found bed bugs on the mattresses! Just don't even bother. The rentals are cheap for a reason
