"We think that The Enchanted Sittelle is the perfect place to stay. The facilities are complete and as fo the setting and location, among forests and lakes, it couldn't be bettered. Our hosts, Christine and Bénigne, made us feel completely at home. Their welcome was warm and friendly and Christine explained how everything worked in the site so that we never had a problem with anything in the house. She also pointed us to some of the beautiful towns and villages, which we enjoyed visiting, and even enabled us to understand the different classifications of Comté cheese! Being so close to the A39, makes it easy to travel quickly around the region too, another good advantage of the location. We left some things behind and Christine kindly offered to post them to us, another good example of the excellent host she is. We hope to enjoy another stay there next year. In a word, it's Fabulous"."

"The hotel has historic elements mixed with the very modern and is extremely attractive. Our room was a little dated but was kept very clean and was much larger than average. The bathroom was spacious and had everything you need. The location is excellent - right in the centre of the village, and for wine lovers an easy walk to many producers for a tasting. By far the best thing about the property was Jesse (the receptionist), she was so friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay special. "

"Amazing property. We had a delightful two night stay. The only negative was the breakfast, which it is overpriced and you better wake up early or you risk not being even seen by the limited and overly busy attending personnel. The second day we sat at our table for more than 30 min unacknowledged. At that point we left and had breakfast at the local boulangerie."

"We cannot say enough good things about this rental. It is a beautiful property in a wonderful location and host. I am an older (78) but enthusiastic cyclist and the Jura region is the best biking I have ever found. The terrain is perfect. The riding offers all of the variety I could want, from near flat to gentle hills to challenging climbs far beyond my ability. The bike routes are numbered and well marked, plus there are hundreds of miles of small departmental and tiny agricultural roads, as well as endless gravel and hiking tracks to explore. It is the most beautiful country we have found in France. We have visited Provence, Burgundy, and Dordogne, but the Jura outshines them all, IMHO. One could not hope for a kinder or friendlier host. Dinan (Dino), a very interesting man, and his wife live on the property. He is always available to take care of any issues and does so promptly. We enjoyed his company over a glass of wine on several occasions. The isolated, quiet property in the tiny village of Villerserine (population 35) is only 20 minutes from the small, charming, historic city of Poligny and 10 minutes from a supermarket. The Jura region produces top quality wines and the famous Comté cheese. The historic cities of Beaune and Besançon, plus the whole Burgundy-Franche-Comté region, are less than two hours drive. Outstanding!"
