"Short 1 night stay before going to Tropea. A but challenging with language barrier arranging to meet Mimmo the owner, a lovely older gentleman but we got there with the help of technology. Helped us with a lift from our car to as close to the property as possible then walked the last bit through the narrow streets. "A very mixed bag. The location is amazing and we had an incredible view from our balcony. The room was large, comfortable and clean. The issue is with the service. I messaged multiple times before arriving to ask for help arranging a transfer from the station. I got no response. There was nobody at the reception when I came to check in (or ever). The hotel was advertised as having a pool. It does not have a pool. Overall we enjoyed our stay but the terrible service took the gloss off "

"One of the jewels of our stay in Gerace. Casa Ferrari ushers you in from the street through an old garden teeming with blooming plants. Once in the apartment, old luxe surrounds you from the kitchen with its bergamot and other citrus marmalades and in the cozy and comfortable rooms and bathrooms. The crown of it all is the balcony, where breakfast if served in the morning, that will usher you onto one of the most beautiful views of the Ionian coast, from Gerace down to the beach.. unbelievable!!...

"I have stayed in many bed and breakfast hotels across Europe and Italy. This is by far the best I have ever stayed. The location is not super fantastic. It’s next to a main road but we can’t hear anything in the room. The room is simple but super super clean and well maintained. Comes with very clean toilet and shower. Mini fridge. Our window looks out to groves of olive tree. Highly recommended!"
