"The staff was exceptional in their competency, promptness and hospitality. Our room was most spacious and unique and handsome in its design. I love how the tasteful contemporary design throughout the hotel is fused with the original structures of this 19th century building (the travertine staircase with wrought iron grillwork, stone walls and more). This hotel masters also essential things travelers seek like a comfortable bed and pillows, a great shower and a sumptuous breakfast. You can even dine al fresco. The windows are beautifully designed with exterior shutters, heavy glass and then solid interior shutters. This made the room soundproof. This was the first staff willing to lower the room temperature for us (we were traveling off- season and most hotels will not turn on their AC until season starts). The location of the hotel would be the only negative as we like to walk everywhere. This part of Naples is dirty and noisy, but probably safe; nonetheless, we opted to take taxis to the areas we wanted to explore. "

"We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and had the best time here. The entire hotel staff from guest services to the breakfast staff were amazing. We felt we were staying with our family here. The hotel management welcomed us with a bottle of Proseco wine, an upgrade of our room, bouquet of roses, cards, laminated pictures and famous lemon candies. This was a very warm welcome and beyond our imagination. The location of the property is absolutely breathtaking and you don’t need to go too many places if you want to enjoy the local culture and cuisine. We would like to say personal thanks to the wonderful breakfast staff for giving us a nice welcome with delicious entrees and freshly squeezed juices. Special thanks to Eugenio, Giovanna, Giuseppe, Carmela, Christian, Roman, Angelo and Diego. The Guest services team aimed to please as well. Many thanks to Flavia, Francesca, Francesca(Marketing), Flora, Daniella, Ludowicka, Mirko and Estella for their warm hospitality. There are other team members that we don’t remember their names but provided us excellent service too. We surely will be back again to celebrate other occasions as we have created a special bond and friendship with the Ananatara family. The fact that this was a former monastery and our room was across the Chapel enriched us spiritually as well. "

"The hotel itself is amazing and HUGE! Very nice. The only thing I didn't like is it is remote, and you need to have a car to get around. Not within walking distance to anything. I'll definitely stay there again though, but will have to rent a car. "
