"Location, location, location. The hotel is located within walking distance of many excellent restaurants. There is a nice grocery store 100 meters away. They provide taxi service and car rental at the site. The AC works fine. The bed was comfortable. The rooms are spacious. The walk-in shower has a rain head and a handheld head. The pool is clean and the temperature is perfect! The operators are friendly and helpful. Be forewarned it is a little funky at first. The entrance is located down a dark alley and looks like someone’s home – except for a small sign that says reception. The new tile everywhere is nice, but the bottom of the pool needs repainting. The oval toilet has a round seat. Just little things. Well worth it for price and value. "

"This was a very pleasant stsy for overnight before our flight back to the U.S. The only problem was we were cheated by the taxi they called; the meter opened at $20.00. Im sure the hotel got a cut so we felt ripped off for the 4 minute ride. Normally the fare starts off at $13.00."

"Our visit back to Hotel Kaveka 23 years after our honeymoon at the same location was wonderful. We prefer smaller, locally run and/or owned hotels, and Hotel Kaveka does not disappoint. The manager was kind enough to upgrade us for our stay, and we enjoyed our spacious and clean bungalow, a few steps from the water. Each morning over our coffee we'd watch the fish, and were treated to seeing an octopus. Great snorkeling is right in front at a drop-off. So nice to see the numerous upgrades over years--what a treat to stay once again."

"We stayed 3 nights. We upgraded our room to the 1 bedroom suite lagoon view. The room is large with kitchen and balcony facing the sea. The view is beautiful. The breakfast buffet has all varieties of food. The swimming pool is very nice and good for snorkeling and water activities. We enjoyed our time there. And the tropical garden is also beautiful."

Restaurant, Le Lotus, French cuisine was Superb and a culinary experience that we will never forget! The sounds in the distant from the polynesian dancers at the main restaurant added to the ambiance making our last night something to remember. "
