"Continuing from where I was before… The other aspects we found frustrating were that the room was so hot! The first evening there it was roasting, found it hard to sleep! But again the staff were great and even though the air conditioning couldn’t be turned on, they made the effort to supply a portable air con machine which took the heat off a bit which ultimately meant our baby could then sleep peacefully! "The hotel was a little walk from downtown, but I felt comfortable walking through the neighborhoods at night. It was very easy to walk from the train station to the hotel and then from the hotel to downtown Villach. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful; the manager was positively the best. She gave me great recommendations and was very quick in responding to my emails. My only regret is that I didn't get a chance to meet her to thank her in person. "

"Fabulous centrally-located hotel that served us well as a family during a rail trip across mainland Europe. Great breakfast buffet too. Only snag was that we were given a wrong room on check in but this was immediately resolved. "

"We were extremely dissapointed in this property. Contrary to the listing there was NO wifi, NO living room, NO laundry facilities, and NO BBQ! The nice man who let us in and gave us the keys said he was just the key holder, and couldn't explain the discrepancy when I showed him a photo of the listing. Quiet holiday apartment near Laghi Di Fusine

Not for summer holiday

"We booked this place for a family of 5 plus two grandparents. The flat is really big but poorly laid out. It had four bedrooms but only one toilet, separate from the bathroom. It really needs another toilet, there is plenty of space! There was no book explaining how everything works, and the electricity cut out when we switched the cooker on, leaving us having to work out how to sort the fuse box ourselves. Boiler was not good enough for us all to have hot showers so some of us had to shower in cold water. The flat was so hot - there was no AC and only some of the windows have netting and even then, flies would come in and disturb us. The living room was not big enough for everyone. Lastly, there was no key to the upstairs flat so no privacy or security from the people who live downstairs. To be fair, we did not raise any of these issues, as we were only there for two nights in July. The location is good but the flat needs much improvement."
