"Basic room at a reasonable price for the quality of accommodation. The rooms are showing there age. Badly scraped walls, damaged paintwork, frayed carpets etc, but good clean linen on bed. Bathroom of a reasonable standard. Hot towel rail and large fluffy white towels. Located centrally for the city centre. "

"My mum and I had a lovely stay at Ardoe! Our room was great, and we enjoyed drinks in the drawing room; the bartender was brilliant. Our meal was also fantastic, highly recommend treating yourself in their restaurant although they do also have bar meals. The only downside is that the swimming pool hosts so many lessons and also seems to attract a lot of local families, so we didn't have many opportunities to use the pool. We had to get up really early to use it before lessons started, but...

"Nice hotel. This is my first ch hotel when I stay in Aberdeen. Rooms are clean and comfortable with a good shower. Food in the bar is excellent so can be quite busy but they have enough staff to cope well. Excellent gym and pool to relax in after a hard day. "

Inexperienced/poorly trained staff (at check in and checkout, the staff members announced their newness and lack of familiarity with the hotel systems. "The place was good. Parking was pain and confusing. We did not get the parking at first so ended up paying double for the night. I was not clear about the reception staff trying to explain me the complicated parking system."
