"Everything very good. Lovely village. My wife found the mattress a little hard but other than that perfect."

"Check in was excellent. Receptionist was friendly and very helpful. Room was good but the bathroom was a weird design. Breakfast was ok. Service was good and very friendly. Hotel was well situated. Plenty of parking behind but you have to navigate some one way streets. You can walk into town in about 15 minutes downhill. 20 minutes back up."

"Pretty good stay, everything is walkable distance, and the view was gorgeous! The only thing was a dripping sound in our room that we didn’t know where it came from and you could hear when the toilet flushes in another room. "

"Could not access property upon arrival. supposed to have staff at front desk for check-in from 1 - 5. Arrived 1:30, no one on duty, no one answered intercom by front door. Finally got response an hour later. No one actually on duty the whole two days we were there. WiFi goes down at least twice per day, sometimes for hours while we ry to contact someone to fix it. "A good place to stay for one night en route to Santander. It is very central. The room is small, so we wouldn't have wanted to stay longer than one night. The shower is extremely (too) powerful and flooded the floor. One of the bath towels looked as though it hadn't been washed as it had marks on it and there was a bit of debris and some dust under the bed, which was disappointing. "It's very difficult to know how to rate this hotel. A beautiful old inn set in a stunning location. A few irritations though, made what could have been a fabulous experience into an expensive let down. Over 300 euros for dinner bed and breakfast warrants more personal care and attention. After driving up a very narrow track you arrive at the car park. Press the button on a large gate, not a word of welcome on the intercom. "Our room was dark during the day. The lights were very few and weak. In the morning the sunlight didn't let us sleep. The fornitures need an upgrade, the night table was broken and the wardrobe made funny sounds. But the worst was the wallpaper, broken and with many stains. The spa is very limited and expensive for what it is. The rest of the hotel is very nice, the restaurant, the patio and the employees are remarkable."
