"Looking to getaway for a few days this is the place with quiet spot along side the river bank and lovely walks beside you close to the town (couple miles ).if you need it and local store with all you need the only interaction we had was with the birds and the red squirrel (tuffty) who came around for a visit regularly great place for a short rest 😀"

"We had a wonderful stay in Toward. The location of the cottage is idyllic, and it was sometimes hard to do anything other than watch the water and the birds and ships passing by. But walking around the shoreline and exploring Dunoon were worth the effort and we found good local places to eateffort.atshoreline arouheadland "

The kitchen is well equipped for cooking although apart from salt, pepper and cooking oil there were no other basics such as tea and coffee.Communication with the owner was excellent. It was easy to park in front of the property. It might not suit those with mobility issues as the (internal) stairs to the property are quite steep. We enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return.
