"This property was riddled with issues making our stay rather uncomfortable & unpleasant. The cleanliness was way below average, with lots of cobwebs, dirty bed linen, towels, floors and outdoor sitting area. Several safety hazards were also quite concerning - broken bed slats in the master bedroom, a broken ladder on the bunk bed, broken dishwasher and poor electrical wiring in the living room which tripped the circuit breaker. "What a beautiful property! We had an hours-long tour with Kathy, the caretaker, who lives in a cottage at the back of the property. There was so much to explore! The kids loved the pool. We played tennis. We walked, and walked, and walked. Quirky, and fun! Kathy and the team go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. "I had a fantastic time staying at the Kookabarra house. The place was super clean, relaxing, and had such a pleasant atmosphere. It was the perfect spot for our family getaway!
