"We had never been in this area, but I must say staying at the penn Stroud was great! It was clean, friendly , updated, the breakfast was great, and the staff extremely helpful! Vanessa in the breakfast area was super sweet and kind. She always made sure my needs were met. Kept the breakfast area, super clean and neat. It’s a place you feel very safe in every aspect I left my coat at the hotel and they were so kind to call me, and let me know the options for me getting my coat back I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone and would really like to thank Penn Strous for the wonderful three days spent at their hotel! PS. the beds were very comfortable which is very important for us! "

"Requested different accommodations this visit and our room was just perfect. The front desk personnel were extremely helpful and courteous. We had two great nights at Split Rock. WE did not use the restaurant facilities since we like to go to two of our favorite restaurants which are: Terra-Cottage and for a casual dinner Shenanigans. Also, there is a great market at the Hub on the hotel grounds."
