This is not worth over $200 per night. Torn curtains, broken welcome mats, no elevators to the second floors, fights outside late at night, and generally run down. They said they offered a free shuttle to the ships when I called, but they charged additional for that. The driver was awesome though!

Staff was wonderful. The location was not that great to me. There were only so many places you could choose from in.Walking distance to shop and eat. I did not care that my room door was located on the outside, I preferred enclosed hotel rooms. My family loved the transportation service to and from the airport, as well as the cruise ports. Both drivers were wonderful, they made sure we got from the airport safely, as well as to the crew sport safely.

A major positive is the quick straight shot of 10 minutes to airport. The place needs a major renovation and updates. Room service and amenities are virtually non-existent. If I were a hunter- didn’t care/place to rest head- and this was only place around within 50 miles then, yes, otherwise spend the extra $$$ closer to downtown.

I did not stay at the quality inn, I stayed at the Ramada. I am a solo female traveler and I booked the quality inn after doing research making sure it was safe for me to stay alone, and that it was in close proximity of my needs. The day before my reservation the hotel called me and explained that due to “mandatory maintenance” they will be moving me to their sister property the Ramada in Tampa. I understand that things happen and I needed to stay somewhere else, but the drive to the hotel was over an hour with traffic and when I arrived I was very disappointed that not only is it far away from the original booking, but also that it is a lesser hotel. It’s rated lower on Expedia, it isn’t very clean or well kept, and there are lots of people hanging out in the hallways playing music and smoking. The woman who checked me in was very nice and helpful, but she advised me a few times to make sure I lock my door. As a female traveling by myself, I don’t feel very safe in this hotel and I am disappointed that this was the alternative option chosen for me after I spent so much time looking for a place that would make me feel comfortable.

When making reservation we were looking for a place convenient to the airport and cruise port with transportation and free breakfast. Overall the experience was neither horrible or excellent, but probably would never book there again or recommend to anyone to stay there either without major changes.
