The hotel is under outdoor renovation so a lot of scaffolding but besides that the hotel was clean and my room was big and quiet Hotel staff were very nice and accommodating

Lovely hotel overall. They are doing some construction on the outside but it did not affect anything. Communication about parking was misleading and there is mandatory valet for a $40 fee that wasn’t cool.

We booked a suite room, which was sold out upon arrival. Received a small room with no desk or couch. Hotel is surrounded by construction, and television does not work. For the price, this room is atrocious. Staff was not helpful as this was a third party booking. We drove 10 hours and had to rest, or else I would have left this property. I expect a significant, or full refund.

Service was exceptional. The hotel is being renovated outside but the inside is beautiful. It was scary driving up but quite honestly you will never even realize once indoors. The Dan was amazing and Kate the bartender makes you feel welcomed from the moment you step inside. A historical building honoring the history with the new renovations. Loved my stay.

The Hotel staff was super helpful, the room was kept immaculate, one hotel I didn't feel bad about walking barefoot on the floors. Great room, modern, comfortable bed, nice TV, hotel amenities were great, it was a refurbished 1920's hotel, awesome. They are in the process of remodeling the exterior which is a tiny bit inconvenient but understandable. We loved our stay there in Tampa, mainly due to this hotel. Thanks again.

Let me start by saying the interior of the hotel was beautiful, and the design was impressive. However, my experience was severely impacted by several issues that led to this low rating. First, upon arrival, I found it incredibly difficult to locate the entrance due to extensive construction on the exterior of the hotel—a situation I was not informed of beforehand. At check-in, I was required to pay a $30 per day fee for services like internet, two small bottles of water, and a shuttle service limited to a 3-mile radius. I politely declined but was told the fee was mandatory. Additionally, I had to pay a $100 per day incidental deposit, resulting in an unexpected extra $390 for my three-day stay. Things only worsened from there. After the first night, the hot water went out. When I spoke to the front desk, I was informed that 2 out of their 3 boilers were not working. To make matters worse, the ongoing construction noise was unbearable when I tried to rest in my room before dinner. Despite these issues, I still had to take a cold shower that evening. The next day, I decided to check out early because the situation had become intolerable. When I inquired about a refund for the unused night, I was told it wasn’t possible because my reservation was non-refundable. I was assured that my incidental deposit would be refunded within a week.

Beautiful hotel. Went during Christmas time, fully decorated. Bed was so comfortable and bathroom was super clean. Restaurant is nice. Walkable from main part of downtown Tampa.

This was a nice hotel. The staff was friendly. I wish they had better accommodations for parking. 40 a day for valet that we didn’t use much was a little steep. Overall I had a nice experience.
