Beautiful Historic home on 1 acre Park-like setting on the River in exclusive private subdivision 5 minutes from Downtown Tampa, Raymond James Stadium, 7 min to Amalie Hockey Stadium 30 minutes from world famous beaches, 15 min. from Air Port, This home is a Spanish Mediterranean Beauty built in 1942 and totally redecorated and brought to date in 2012. Peacocks freely roam the yard. All adjoining estates have equally large properties and gives you a country feel but just a few minutes from all the action. The 24 foot long Master bedroom has a queen bed and a a 60 foot long second story balcony with great views. The downstairs living room has fireplace and has an open plan to dining room and gourmet kitchen with fantastic views. There are 2 full baths upstairs and a 1/2 bath downstairs. A laundry room with washer dryer downstairs.There is a covered front porch and a covered back porch. The pavered driveway is about 3000 square feet with lots of parking. Columns around the perimeter of the property are equipped with lighting that come on at night for a well lit yard. See photos and floor plans.

Fantastic!

My family and I loved staying here. We had everything we needed and more. The place is beautiful and the hospitality was far greater than expected. We hope to make this our regular place to stay any time we are in Tampa! Thanks, Mike! It was a great week!

Peacock Paradise!

From the moment we arrived Mike was welcoming, charming, and very helpful. The location was very accessible to downtown, and the perfect place to return to after a long day at our convention. Between the river view and the peacock parade, the great kitchen and comfortable seating, cozy beds and well appointed bathrooms, glorious sunsets on the terrace...well, let's just say it was wonderful.

The property is not as represented in photo

This property is not as represented in the photo. It consists of three separate units of which two are occupied and which share the backyard and the courtyard. I rented the property to have a fenced yard for my dogs and only choose pet friendly rentals. Upon arrival I was told I should have contracted the owner as his dog who resides on the property and has use of the backyard and undergone an operation and could not interact with my dogs. This was not noted in the advertisement nor in the exchange of emails prior to my arrival. I have requested a full refund but the owner has not responded other than releasing my damage deposit for a rental that I did not occupy. This listing should be for a property that is occupied and not represented as a stand alone property. Very disappoint with Owner and Company which I used to find this property.

Very nice

The kitchen was large and the host helpful and friendly. We also enjoyed the peacocks that were on the property. Having a large place like this near downtown Tampa was s serious upgrade from a hotel room.

A very relaxing stay and a gracious host

A spacious property built in the 40's with "Old South" charm. Owner has done many exterior upgrades and lives in adjacent apartment with his trusted friend Rocky, a Springer Spaniel. Both were very welcoming and made the place feel like home. Ideally suited for two couples, but compromise needed since 2nd bedroom is significantly smaller than large master. Very centrally located to all amenities and sites - airport, downtown and riverwalk, shopping, golf, baseball, Ybor tourist area. St. Pete's and famous Gulf beaches only 45 minutes drive. We really enjoyed our stay.
