Beautiful House, Poor Property Management
We arrived at the gate and were told there was issues with the rental. Were told we couldn’t check in as there were problems with the refrigerator. Was given 3 options, move to one of the rentals they suggested, these were not even close to the equivalent of what we had rented and an 8 hour drive away, be compensated but remain staying at the property or receive a refund. The communication took the better part of the day, wasting a day of our vacation. We decided to check in anyways and allow them a day to repair the refrigerator. When we arrived the entire floor in the kitchen and porch area were flooded, this is how we spent our first hour was mopping up water with towels. This was an ongoing process until the repair person arrived the next day and was able to stop the water from leaking. While he was there we also were told that the dishwasher was leaking and out of commission, we were not able to use this amenity the entire stay. There was no direct number given to us to communicate with the property managers, no information about what to do with our garbage and recycling during our stay and nothing about how to allow anyone in the gate that were guests. Our friends arrived in a taxi to pick us up and after Vacasa messaged me to confirm and I did, we still had to walk all the way to the gate! Emails of pictures Vacasa asked me to send of the flooding was responded to 11 days later after our arrival home. We have still not received any compensation for this.
