A beautiful cottage, in a beautiful position with a beautiful view.

A beautiful cottage, in a beautiful position with a beautiful view. This sums up this accommodation in one sentence. Central position to visit Harlech Castle, Barmouth, Porthmadog, Criccieth, Pwllheli and even further afield. There is WiFi at the property, not very fast but adequate. If I had to comment on anything, we found the beds too soft, albeit comfortable. That is just our preference. Would recommend a stay here with no hesitation. Lovely, cosy cottage.

Lovely, cosy cottage. Exactly what we were looking for, peace & quiet and fabulous views. With Harlech and Porthmadog almost on the doorstep. All the amenities we required for a restful break. The bed was a little bit uncomfortable for slightly large people but everything else was great! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Lovely cosy cottage with everything you might need and beautiful views over the bay. Welcoming bottle of wine and homemade cake was a great bonus. The owner even let us charge our electric car up from the property. Will certainly be coming back! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Ideally placed for visiting North Wales and Snowdonia.

Ideally placed for visiting North Wales and Snowdonia. The view from the barn is amazing and we were lucky enough to have good weather. The yard in front of the barn is enclosed which means we didn’t have to worry about our dog wandering off. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

The view and location are amazing, very comfy cottage.

The view and location are amazing, very comfy cottage. Really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the surroundings. For £800+ a week (summer) I would expect slightly higher quality furnishings (DVD player didn't work, dishwasher needed cleaning out to work properly, one of the twin beds was lumpy) but overall we had a fantastic week here and were really happy with the place. The Barn was a fab cottage for two of us and our two Labradors.

The Barn was a fab cottage for two of us and our two Labradors. It had everything you would expect of self catering accommodation plus a few extras. The sofas were comfy, the underfloor heating was lovely, everywhere was clean and tidy and the view was beautiful. The location of The Barn was great for us with lots of places to walk within walking distance, and the coast just a few minutes drive away. The only negative of The Barn for us was that the outdoor area isn’t enclosed, so we needed to keep an eye on our two Labs when we let them outside. We soon got used to it but do think it could benefit from a gate. The road isn’t busy at all and there were only a few cars the whole time we were there, but there is a field with sheep just opposite. We loved the area and will definitely be back!

This is a lovely holiday cottage.

This is a lovely holiday cottage. Great location in between Harlech and Porthmadog. The long dog friendly beach at Harlech just a few miles away. Very comfortable and cosy. Great views overlooking the estuary. Rhian, the owner is very welcoming. Only downside for us, with a dog, is that the outside seating area and drive was open to the road.

Good accessible accommodation with walk in shower and space to move around. We (2 couples and 2 dogs) stayed for a few nights in early June.

We (2 couples and 2 dogs) stayed for a few nights in early June. The location is great for coastal and mountain walks. The owner was really helpful and made sure we had everything we needed (including some lovely scones on arrival). The view from this property takes in Snowdon to the north, through Portmeirion across the estuary and out to sea in the West must be one of the best in the UK. A great place to spend a few days.

We had a lovely 3 night break and couldn’t have been happier with the cottage! Clean, tidy, fresh scones on arrival and the kettle had been boiled before we arrived! Beautiful location and stunning views from the windows! We took the train to Porthmadog and had a wonderful day out, would highly recommend!
