"We were looking to disconnect from the worries of the world, to slow down our lives, and to still our hearts and minds. The cottage was the perfect place for this, and was exactly as advertised. We took a daily hike/walk at different nearby beaches, parks, or forests. We mostly prepared our own food (2 meals in Bettyhill), and we reveled in the quiet. "

"Beautiful location, sunrises & views were breathtaking. Lucky enough to watch a dolphin & calf playing in the bay one day as well as lots of sea birds including the Gannets diving for their catch. Could be absolutely perfect but was slightly let down by cleanliness of the property & no double bed in any of the bedrooms. Despite that would definitely recommend & would stay again if holidaying in the area."

"Property is conveniently situated with spectacular views overlooking Tongue bay. Orkney and on really clear day Shetland as well. Hosts are very welcoming and the welcome hamper is a nice touch (very good coffee). All in all a great time was had by ourselves."
