Wonderful stay in Talkeetna!
My husband and I had a great stay at the cabin! We loved the deck and enjoyed time sitting outside and admiring the views. The cabin was wonderful (the Scrabble board game was a plus!!). We would love to stay again next time we’re in Alaska :)

The Denali views alone would give this place a 5 star review, but the adorable cabin, comfortable beds and super helpful host made this stay even better. Would definitely stay again.

The million dollar view is priceless and offsets the compactness and the remoteness of the cottage. The place is very clean too.

We enjoyed our stay, especially the beautiful rear balcony views. The cabin was well-equipped, very clean & all of the furnishings were very comfortable. We appreciated having fans available in both the upstairs bedrooms. Thank you! Great location. Would stay again, if ever we return to the area.

Great view
Nice, clean property. I'm glad we stayed in summer with our little sedan. You would need better in the winter. The view is worth it. My downstairs bed was very firm, but fine. We would stay again. Thanks!

Majestic View of Denali
Spent four nights in this lovely cabin, but a lot of our time was spent exploring the beautiful state of Alaska. The town of Talkeetna is close by and offers great local/small business shopping and dining. We also did a Chulitna River Cruise with Mahay, which was a great time and more beautiful views. Did a little fishing on Christiansen Lake, which was about five minutes away, and saw lots of families swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. This cabin in Talkeetna was perfect for our family and Whitney was easy to work with and very gracious!

Nice place but too many mosquitoes
The cabin was very nice and was just as described in the listing. It would be a great place at a different time of year, but in mid June it is impossible to go outside because of the mosquitoes. you are not even able to get into your car without being swarmed and a half dozen little critters following you in.

Rustic cabin in the woods with amazing view
Pros -- the view! This property has a deck with an amazing view and is not far from the main square in Talkeetna and other attractions such as ski resorts and the 7 Glaciers restaurant. Cons -- Be prepared for a rustic experience in a cabin with well water, and low water pressure. The cabin is attractive but there is limited seating in the living room with a very uncomfortable futon and the mattresses are adequate. This is a fine setting if you are doing lots of activities.

Amazing location and property
We had a great one night stay in the cabin and loved it! Whitney was a great host, checked in on us, and took the time to explain the mountains and peaks we were seeing off the porch. The queen bedroom and the living spaces have beautiful views of the Alaskan Range and we got lucky to see Denali.. the downside Roberge beautiful views on a sunny day was the heat radiating through the picture windows. Fans helped, but I can imagine it getting hot later in the summer.. definitely keep the blinds drawn when not admiring the view! The one shower was sufficient for the five of us, but the pressure was fairly weak making it tricky to wash long hair! It’s an adventurous drive up to the cabin, but completely worth it and still only ten minutes from town.. we would absolutely rent again 😊

Cozy with lovely views
This cabin is very well located, only a few minutes from Talkeetna but also with incredible views (even though we still couldn't see Denali due to the weather, the view was still amazing and the stars were incredible at night). The only suggestion I have for those renting is to be aware that the cooking ability is limited. I did read in the description that there is a microwave, grill, and two burners. However, there was a note in the kitchen not to cook anything with a smell (onion, garlic, peppers, etc) or have a cleaning fine. I would have appreciated that to have been in the description as we did plan to cook tacos that night - Talkeetna does not have a lot of dining options so we were looking forward to being cozy in the cabin for one of our dinners. Otherwise though, the cabin was perfect for our stay and I would go again (just prepare my menu/expectations differently is all).
