"Loved the cabin. Perfect for a couple. We loved the lower deck overlooking the River! The cabin has everything you need. The bathroom mirror is lighted and you can dim it to adjust the best lighting while doing your makeup. The kayaks are easy enough to access and a short walk. However, I would not recommend unless you are pretty experienced. There was a lot of rain in the area and the River was flowing. My guy was able to get across, but I just couldn’t. "We really enjoyed our stay at Morning Star. The cabin has no WiFi and is 3.5 miles from the main road, so I was nervous that we wouldn’t have cell phone service, but we still did. "I was very impressed with the cabin. The pictures do match the actual property. It was very luxurious & impressive. They had practical cooking items, like an Dual Air Fryer, Dual Coffee maker, pots, pans, coffee mugs, etc.We enjoyed the hot tub the most. The weather was extremely cold (below 28º) so the tub was quite refreshing. I certainly enjoyed my time there and will definitely book again. "
