Cosy and warm and log fire a nice addition as the heating is on a timer for when the temp does drop. "My wife, dog and I stayed in the Parlour cottage at the end of August 2024. Please take note that they prefer cash or bankers transfer, Hotels.com does not take the money. It is so relaxing and quite, this is down to the hands off way of the owners, Martin & Kate. We arrived and found a wonderful welcome pack waiting of Bread, milk, eggs and biscuits. The cottage is well equipped although some mobile service providers, (Vodafone) do not cover the area. Locally there is a small shop come P.O....

"The accommodation was 1st Class .. The surroundings garden and lakes were a credit to the owners . we had a very warm welcome from Beryl welsh cakes butter jam tea and a fresh baked bread . Could not have asked for more . Within easy reach or New Quay tried more or less all of the restaurants outstanding food . The cottage was a gem the host was delightful Don’t hesitate to book it ."

Good points: Cosy, spacious, warm, great internet, good kitchen, dishwasher, nice log fire, excellent pub across the road. Not so great points: Desperately needs some TLC, back door doesn’t lock so not the best security although it’s not a risk in this area, curtains are poor so we were awake quite early, kitchen utensils need upgrading. On the whole we would recommend but it could be so much better...
