The people in the reception were very helpful, not just on checkin and checkout, but also in giving directions to spots. The location is great very near at the Train Station. Spring cleaning staff were having lunch in the same dining hall where we have breakfast which is a lovely to see that management treat their staff as well as their guests. "

"The hotel is very nice until you get to the rooms. Rooms were smaller then the other hotels we stayed at. We were asked if we smoked and said no. They put us in a nonsmoking room. Clearly it was a previous smoking room. Very smoky and yellowed. Extremely musty!"

"The staff were so helpful and flexible. We knew only very broken Japanese but they used their translator or tried their best to figure out what we were saying. The room was clean and more spacious than expected. It is a traditional ryokan style and we were served wonderful dinner in their restaurant. They provided yukatas but I wasn't able to figure out how to get the obis and was too shy to ask. It was 10 minute walk from the beach and the aquarium. It is a bit far from the town but I enjoyed...
