"It was very nice property but there only one onset facility except for the foot bath that was not covered and small… and the property only had one lounge area which serviced some rings & snacks but the lounge was too small for the amount of guess. Pause our room was in the 4th floor & stomping foot sound echoed all night "

"We stayed here for a week while visiting our daughter who lived nearby. The staff were friendly, and polite. No problem with communication even though I do not speak Japanese. I really enjoyed their breakfast buffet. The view of the mountains from the room can't be beat. I agree with one review that said the toilet in the reception is the best toilet I have been to in Japan, as crazy as that may sound. Highly recommend!"

"Excellent resort beautiful views from ocean view room and the lobby area. We did half board and buffet style breakfast and dinner were excellent. The hotel is situated on top of a steep hill so walking into the town is not an option but the hotel provides free shuttle service which is very convenient."

"Excellent service. Free shuttle to and from Tendo station. They also managed to keep and deliver our luggage to station after check out. There is a tax free shop and supermarket within walkable distance. Dinner and breakfast is good and fulfilling. Onsen is relaxing."

"Location - there is a pick up service from jr nakuro onsen station. You need to notify the hotel in advance for the pick up service. Staff- they are very nice. I got off at the wrong jr station. The next train will be an hour later but the hotel staff was already at the station waiting for me. I was very lucky to get some assistance from a local gentleman. He called the hotel and the hotel staff drive to my station and picked me up. I also asked the reception about the transport to naruko...

"The place was as described. The indoor onsen was small. Didn't go for the outdoor onsen as the timing pretty early from 5.30am-8.15am and have to complete my breakfast by 8.15am. Overall the stay was comfortable."

"We stayed for a couple of nights at this onsen and would highly recommend. It was easy to get to from the local train station. We arrived from Sendai and took a day trip towards Yamagata and on both occasions a shuttle bus was waiting to take us to the hotel without advanced booking. The staff at reception spoke some English and with our limited Japanese we were checked in quite quickly. "かなりおすすめのホテルです。松島で客室露天風呂付きのお部屋を探していて、こちらに辿り着きました。お部屋は写真よりも広く、カップルでリラックスして過ごすのには最適です。部屋の目の前には松島の海が広がっていますよ。お食事は海鮮系の和食で、伝統的な日本式の旅館・ホテルのような食事体験を期待している人に特におすすめです（ブッフェ形式ではなく、一人一人お膳を用意いただける形式です）。最寄駅からのアクセスもよく、徒歩15分以内なので、駅前の観光をしながら楽しく歩いてホテルまでむかいました（希望があれば送迎もしれくれるので、歩きたくない人でも安心）なお、ホテルの目の前には小さな島があり、そこに大量のカモメがいて、個人的にはそれも見どころの一つかなと思いました（鳴き声がうるさいと感じる人もいるかもしれませんが、それ以外はとっても静かなエリアです）総合的に大満足のステイでした。カップルで素敵な思い出を作るなら、ぜひ海風土さんを利用してみてくださいね。"

"The whole process, from communication before check-in to storing my luggage there after check-out, was very smooth. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and spacious, signage was foreigner-friendly, and there was a great range of amenities and supplies provided. The bed and bathroom were comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious. My only wish is for a lobby or public seating area for leisure aside from the hotel room, and perhaps a map and suggestions of things to do in Sendai."
