"We travel to Taiwan from our home in North America to visit my wife's family in Taipei. We are curious about Tainan, and travelled here on the HSR. Our cousin suggested the Shangri La to stay since it is immediately adjacent to the regular train station and convenient to the bus routes. We have stayed here twice now to visit Tainan and get to know the city. The hotel is outstanding. The staff is excellent. The breakfast offered with the room is substantial. The rooms are neat .. clean .. and well appointed. We plan to use the hotel as our base of operations to explore more of southern Tainan in future trips. "

"1.接待大廳寬敞，但座位區與飲料區域重疊，要去使用飲料卷時，部分等候辦理入住的旅客佔用此處桌椅。 2.雖準時到達，但因客房尚未整理完成，至下午4點始得入住，接待人員處理得宜，提供隔日可延時退房。 3.早餐選項多，即使是兩人桌也是寬敞，放置餐食不顯擁擠。 4.沐浴用品品牌是Borghese，味道應該是偏向葡萄柚，非常好聞。 5.river view是面向鹽水溪，前面是一整片出海口的紅樹林，景緻宜人。 6.配合環保，不主動提供一次性備品，這點很棒，但沒有濕衣物袋，略為不便。 7.床很大很好睡，雙人房的枕頭有軟硬各二。 8.地下停車場寬敞。 9.飯店有提供腳踏車，附近也有ubike，騎乘方便。 10.地點略偏，但相對的享受到寧靜。"
