Another lovely holiday here
We have been here 4 times now and we really love it. The location is perfect and so quiet even though it’s in the heart of a Luberon village. The house is really well equipped and clean. Having high quality and soft linen/ towels is really useful. We always spend a lot of time in the garden by the pool because it is so pretty and relaxing. Jean-Paul and Françoise are so welcoming and kind. We’d love to return again!

Basic Accommodations
We were disappointed with the quality of furnishings and functionality of this small home. Unfortunately we had booked 4 weeks . Recommend only a few nights here . Limited hardwood seating, minimal furniture. Impossible to entertain friends and when we asked for an extra table we were given an old broken down card table. Owners do not speak English. There are awkward stairs to the kitchen, my husband fell twice on them so we moved the little dining table up into the kitchen. Bathroom is tiny and there is no dryer for clothes. We were told we could go to a laundromat. This is very basic accommodations.

Wonderful property
This is a superb property in the beautiful and quiet village of Taillardes, just on the edge of the Luberon area. With 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms the house is perfect for 4 adults. The arrival instructions were excellent and the hosts (Francoise and Jean-Paul) could not have been more helpful. They met us on arrival and also came to say farewell on the morning of our departure. We walked every morning to the local bakery (500m) and enjoyed a superb meal at the excellent restaurant in the centre of the village. The location is excellent with easy access to the Luberon villages such as Gordes, Lacoste, Menerbes. Larger towns such as Nimes, Avignon and Aix are easily reached in under 1 hour. We also enjoyed sunbathing by the pool (although the water was a little chilly at the end of September)

Absolutely wonderful
Easy arrival instructions, lovely owners who met us. Lots of information in the house about local places to visit. The house was wonderful. Spacious, immaculate, well fitted out, comfortable and just a complete delight to stay in. We loved the pool which was so clean and really nice as the weather was exceptionally hot. Supermarkets close by. Many walks from the door, good running routes too if you like to run. Thank you for a great week, we definitely hope to return.

Fantastic stay
Lovely private house in the small village of Taillades. Located on a private road with car access limited to residents with an automatic opener, which is provided. Air conditioning in the bedrooms too, which was great at night. Owners very friendly and helpful. Quiet and private, but close to all the attractions of Provence and the Luberon.

This gite is superbly located . Only a short drive away from "the must see" locations in the Luberon. Jean Paul and Francoise are charming hosts and have a wealth of knowledge. The weather was very hot so the pool was just the thing after a days sightseeing. We would highly recommend this property. Merci!.

Our month-long stay in this home was exceptional.
We wanted a quiet retreat and this Les Taillades home provided just that. It is protected from traffic and at the village edge so gave us privacy and solitude. Yet the location provides easy access to services and to the ancient hilltop towns of the Luberon. Well marked cycling trails pass close by and are great for exploring the region. Our host and hostess, Jean Paul and Francoise, were welcoming and generous with local information -- and provided everything that we needed for a comfortable stay.

Lovely character property in Provence
A lovely, character, property situated in the historic centre of the village of Taillades on the edge of the Luberon. The property is decorated to a high standard with a modern kitchen (including dishwasher) and bathrooms. The owners, Francoise & Jean-Paul are very welcoming & helpful. The property has ample secure off-street parking (invisible from outside) and terrace with small pool. There is an excellent restaurant, Auberge de Carriers, about 100m away, and a boulangerie/ patisserie in the village (about 500m). For anyone travelling with bicycles these can be stored in parking area. The property is ideally located for exploring the villages of Gordes, Menerbes, Bonnieux & Roussillon all of which are within 30 mins drive. Highly recommended.

A gem in Provence!
If you're looking for the perfect quiet getaway in the garden of France, this is it. Jean-Paul and Francoise were terrific hosts, very accommodating, and the nicest people you can ever meet. Waiting for us was flowers, wine and beer in the newly updated residence. We took full advantage of the beautiful pool and outdoor space, as well as, cooking in the very modern kitchen. There was plenty of room for the two of us, including the downstairs bed and bath, a nice sitting room and dinette with lots of windows and doors. We actually never even used the beautiful upstairs bedroom and bath. The location was perfect for exploring the charming villages and markets of Provence and only a short drive to Avignon, and Aix-en-Provence. An incredible restaurant was two minutes from the home and don't forget to walk up the hill to the church to see the incredible views of Taillades and surrounding Provence. We will be back!

Gorgeous place to explore the Luberon

Wonderful!!
We have just completed our stay in this amazing home. The house consisted of two bed two bath with a sitting room, comfortable relaxing chairs, a dining room and a kitchen. The kitchen as the house has everything you could possibly need and more. Outside very Provence and quaint inside very modern. Pool area very private and relaxing and so so quiet. The village consists of a bakery and a restaurant, however a livelier village a few kilometers away. The surrounding area has many interest sites and villages, especially Gordes. We had a wonderful week and would not hesitate to do it again, given the opportunity. Thank you Francois and Jean Paul

Hidden Treasure
We loved our stay in this charming stone home. It was tucked away on a quiet road in the heart of the village. We were warmly welcomed by our hosts Jean Paul and Francoise. They gave us a tour of their lovely and well cared for property. Everything was clean and in perfect order. We appreciated the pool and air conditioning since it was unusually hot according to many of the local residence. It was nice having a private corner of the village to relax and enjoy. We hope to return soon to this precious home in Les Taillades.

Schönes Ferienhaus in toller Lage
Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche im Ferienhaus in Taillades verbracht. Die Lage ist genau wie beschrieben. Die schönen Orte im Luberon sind gut zu erreichen. Den Nachmittag kann man am schönen Pool verbringen und im Restaurant des Ortes am Abend wunderbar essen. Wir würden das Haus jederzeit wieder buchen.

A wonderful stay at a special place
A wonderful place for all that search a calm and clean vacatiob that is still in roughly 20 min car distance to all the sightseeings (Gordes, Abbaye de Sannaque, …). Eine Oase der Ruhe abseits des Massentourismus
Wir, mein Mann und ich, haben es sehr genossen unseren Urlaub in dem sehr urigen Häuschen und liebevoll angelegten Garten mit Swimmingpool zu verbringen. Das Haus liegt verkehrsberuhigt inmitten des alten historischen Dorfes mit Blick auf die Kirche und das alte Schloss. Wir wurden von Françoise und Jean-Paul sehr freundlich empfangen und zur Begrüßung waren im Kühlschrank diverse kühle Getränke für uns bereit gestellt. Die Kommunikation verlief problemlos und wenn wir ein Anliegen hatten, dann standen uns die beiden sehr freundlichen Vermieter sofort mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Es funktionierte alles reibungslos. Das Haus und der Pool waren sehr sauber, der Garten ist ein kleines Paradies. Im Haus war alles vorhanden, was man für das tägliche Leben benötigt. Wir kommen wieder !
