Gorgeous
Everything worked. Reasonably priced. The beds were super comfy, lots of towels provided. One downside is that we were unable to get into the private beach but it’s a 5-10 min drive from several top tier beaches. Drop dead gorgeous house. Dream vacation home for sure. 10/10 would stay again

Awesome cabin!
Loved our stay. Everything was clean and the cabins access to the private beach made the trip for us. The hot tub in the master was complicated and we couldnt figure it out but the hot tub in the patio made up for it.

Love the private deck attached to the Master bedroom. Place had everything we needed for great weekend. Access to the private beach and the playground for my kids was amazing would recommend staying again.

Perfect for Christmas
Lovely location. Lots of room for our large group. The kitchen had all we needed for preparing many meals. The neighborhood was wonderful for walks and amenities. The sauna and hot tub were used after our winter outings. As others have mentioned, a little maintenance is needed, but home is comfy.

Overall great location and amenities. Fast internet and beautiful home. Upstairs hot water runs out quickly so make sure you take short showers and master bath shower is clogged. Other than that we had a wonderful time at our stay.

great home in a wonderful location
Comfortable and friendly home. An easy walk down to the lake. And close to Palisades Tahoe for skiing, and Tahoe Bakery and New Moon Foods for great food! Hot tub was a real highlight for the kids after skiiing. My 12 year old daughter listed this as her favorite place we have ever rented. We loved our stay here.

The property is in a great location. The private beach access was just amazing. The house is need of some minor maintenance. Kitchen cabinets don’t close, master bedroom has a broken mini blind. Easy access and the hot tub and sauna were lots of fun. We would consider staying there again.

We enjoyed our stay. The house is large, warm, and clean. It’s right off the main road, minutes to Homewood ski resort, not far from the Palisades also. A couple of maintenance issues: 1. The stove doesn’t lit and there was no fire lighter or matches, which made preparing dinner difficult the first night. 2. The upstairs shower doesn’t drain well. Other than that, we have no complaints.

Stayed here 12/7-12/10 with my family of 8 adults, 3 kids and 4 pets. The house accommodated us greatly. I liked that the home was off a main road, it made driving easier as we are out-of-towners with limited snow driving experience. The host contact was very responsive. This was my first time using Vrbo so I was worried, but all turned out well. I’ll definitely rebook this in the future.

Needs a lot of work, a handyman and a week would do, but the location was perfect for us, there were mouse droppings in the cabinets, it needed a good cleaning, chapstick was under the bed in one room, a cup in another, the cleaning crew definitely needs retrained.

Perfect cabin for three families.
The place was clean and well stocked. We loved that each family had their own bathroom. The kids loved the bunk bed room. The private beach was perfect for playing games and paddle boarding. This place was awesome and we would stay again. Only issue was it is on busy noisy street so be aware if you are looking for serenity on the decks or hot tub but we didn’t mind.

Nice place and Manger is awesome!
House is beautiful. Issue with Hot Tub, but they called repair guy right away. Huge clump of hair we removed from shower to stop flooding in shower, microwave not working at all (bad when you have teens and you have to reheat food. Cleaning supplies left out and clothes left in Dryer. Overall its a nice place and great location. The manager was awesome! They just need a better cleaning person. We would stay there again.

Excellent for friend trips
This was a great stay. The cabin was beautiful, cozy, and located in the best possible area. This will more than satisfy the needs of a group of friends staying for a ski/hiking trip. However, the cabin does need some love. The microwave and the coffee maker did not work. Which is not a big deal, but it is inconvenient if you were a family with formula or need anything heated up quickly. The bathroom doors were old and decaying. The door handle did not work in the front door.... Very minor things that would make this an even better experience. I still give it 5 stars because of the value, amenities, and location. If it was a grade, I would give it an A-. I will certainly stay here again if available.

Many things were broken and not working
We felt so many things were not working. The microwave, the kitchen fan, light over the stove, stove was missing a knob, kitchen cupboard door was broken and stayed open entire stay, main window was cracked and no keys to trash bin and near the hot tub was flooded so we could not go in the hot tub. We would never stay here again. It was not worth the money we paid. They have got fix everything before renting it out again.

Nice, but could use upkeep
Location was outstanding for attending wedding at Sunnyside. And the house is very nice, but in need of some love. Mostly as depicted in listing pictures, but has experienced some wear since then. A couple of kitchen cabinet doors have broken hinges, every toilet seat was loose, a little bit of an ant problem, and probably most inconvenient, the microwave oven didn’t work - which seems simple, but is a bit of a big deal when on vacation (heating supermarket dishes and restaurant leftovers). Contact was nice and helpful, but took 6 wks to confirm if there was a pack and play for our toddler to sleep in. Would definitely consider staying again though if the upkeep has been addressed.

Not as private as the pic makes to look like
House was cute, however the pic and ad makes it look like a private place but It is not! The outdoor Spa/hotub is on the deck that is in front of the major avenue of the city. Also, for the price we would expect the place to be cleaner. The furniture inside the house was clean but the carpet in the living room was dusty. All the deck was dirty and dusty, we couldn't use any of the seats outside. The water in the hot tub smelled chlorine a lot and it wasn't clear. Directions for the private beach wasn't easily available. The house is big, have many bedrooms but mattresses seems to be old and so soft and bounce I had back pain/neck pain on the following day, maybe people who like that type of mattress might like. Not good for everyone though.

Really nice cabin just needs a handy man
We really enjoyed our stay and the house served the purpose nicely. Even tho it was the middle of record snow fall the location on the main road made the property very accessible. The only reason I did not give five stars is because the property needs a handy man and the manager was non existent. There were a number of little nuisance things wrong or broken. The most noticeable was the microwave which we made do without. But other little things like the three coffee machines on property not working (although my nephew actually cleaned up and repaired one and got it working) A window air conditioner still in place in the middle of winter with poor insulation allowing a steady cold draft into the house. A loose toilet seat... etc all things a good handy man could fix in a few hours most likely. I attribute the lack of trash pickup to the record weather which is what it is. Overall even with these little nuisances four stars it is which speaks well for the house.
