"This is a beautiful hostel, i thought it was a hotel. I wasn't aware that you had to drive on a rough road up the mountain, i found out 2hrs before we got our car rental. They do provide transportation but we found out last minute. The food at restaurant was really good and the service is great. The beds are hard but not an issue for me."

"The owner was very very generous, friendly and helpful. He treated us as if we were part of his family. You don't get this treatment very often. The location is very close to the entrance El Zaino for the Tayrona Park. The vegetation around the property is fantastic. The only negative side is that the cabins are very close by the road and there is a lot of noise day and night. For the day it might not be a huge problem, but at night if you have poor sleep you might suffer from the noise."

"Really nice place to stay. Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Nice little shared garden and small pool, as well as covered patio in the top floor. We really liked staying here. The hosts were very kind and made tasty breakfast. I got terrible food poisoning from the restaurant next door and our host kindly me made a delicious soup the next day to help me feel better. Lots of highway traffic noise, but with the window closed it’s quiet."

"I have no idea how this place has any positive reviews. Easily the worst stay after traveling for 5 weeks in Colombia. Pool was empty and just had a bit of dirty water in bottom despite a promise it would be filled, power was off for most of the 3 days we stayed - they have a backup generator which was only turned on when staff wanted to watch TV or cook, this made the room unbearably hot and in darkness. "We arrived at hierba buena and the people working there had no idea that we had a reservation. They called the owner and she told us that there was absolutly no place for us and that we didn’t have a reservation. I then showed the E-mail we got from Hoteles.com, and she simply said, no that’s not true, I can’t help you. It was getting dark and the hostel is located in a very dark area at Tayrona, all the way up the hill, we walked all the way, and she was so rude on the phone saying it’s fully...
