Wanted to love it
Beautifully remodeled, very clean, lovely decor. With a student at UPS we have tried many VRBOs in the area and really wanted this one to be something to come back to. Unfortunately the living room area is just not comfortable. The small couch was painful to sit on. There was no table to eat a family meal at, just hard metal stools at the countertops. The roof deck, while beautiful, had no covers on the furniture so the cushions were dirty and damp/wet the entire time.

Pictures don’t do this view justice. The apartment is literally across the street from the quiet meadow and pond in Pt Defiance Park. Great place for walking and my tiny dog was mesmerized! The rooftop space is such a great place to hang out and have a glass of wine in the evening or a cup of coffee in the morning. The bed is super comfortable and the shower is great.Very convenient to North Tacoma destinations and Vashon Island. We can’t wait to come back.

Clean and modern, great location
The apartment is modern, bright and uncluttered (but still was stocked with just about anything you might need during your stay). It is small but laid out efficiently so that it was very comfortable for our family of three. Claire and Gabriel were wonderful hosts and responded to our texts promptly when we had questions or concerns. The best part of our stay was that the apartment is about a 5 minute walk from the main entrance of Point Defiance Park, the best park in Tacoma.

Great location, would stay again
Walking distance to Point Defiance, Point Ruston, and restaurants like the Antique Sandwich shop. I used this as a home base for exploring Mount Ranier and Olympic National Parks (each were roughly 2 hours away). I enjoyed morning coffee on the rooftop deck. The home was clean and comfortable and had a very nice kitchen. I checked in late and had just a little trouble finding the place after dark, and figuring out where the entrance was once I parked, but in retrospect there are helpful signs posted (a little higher up than eye level and didn't notice them in the dark while watching my footing). Would be good if the final check-in instructions had a little more detail on that part.

So Cute… Almost 5 Stars!
I wanted to love this place. It’s so cute, in a WONDERFUL location, and I was afraid it would be too small but the size was just right (though we did end up using an air mattress for our 4th person/kiddo). Absolutely adorable, well appointed, safe and quiet area, sweet host family. A few small issues—the AC does not cool and we were there during a hot week. It was hotter and more humid inside than outside!! Eventuality we just opened all the windows, not ideal but it helped. The other issue was that there was no coffee!! We ran to the store and bought our own grounds, and when we went to brew it, the coffee maker didn’t work. Luckily there was a French press so the coffee emergency was brief. Overall this place was great.
