Fabulous Log Home - 2 Master Bedrooms!

This hand hewn log home has amazing mountain views and is nestled on three acres in the Winter Park Highlands neighborhood!

It is conveniently located within a few minute drive of Winter Park, Devils Thumb, Ski Granby and Grand Lake Colorado. It is a the perfect mountain retreat in the winter or summer!

This log home not only has amazing views, but the following amenities:
- two master bedrooms with king beds, two bedrooms with queen beds and a fifth bedroom with two sets of bunk beds (total of 4 twin beds),
- All bedroom have hand hewn log beds with quality mattresses and high end linens,
- Granite slab countertops in the kitchen and stainless steel appliances,
- Dining room table that comfortably seats 8 and has an additional two leaves which allows for seating of 10 to 12 people,
- Three separate "gathering areas" with TV/entertainment centers including upstairs with sectional couch, main floor and downstairs in pool table room,
- Pool table with bar/refrigerator area and television,
- Outdoor basketball hoop,
- Gas grill,
- Deck with outdoor patio furniture with seating for 6, plus bonus "upstairs" deck with table and chairs with seating for 2, and

Perfect place to stay!
This is the best supplied house we have ever seen. Plenty of space. Close enough to the slopes, but far enough away to relax on your own. We absolutely loved it. The owners are very quick to respond with any questions.

My family enjoyed our stay here. No close neighbors, house is amazing, views are incredible on the deck, beautiful kitchen that has everything anyone could need, whomever cleans the house does an incredible job. The drive up to the house could be a challenge - dirt road and sharp curves.

Gorgeous getaway
Very spacious and comfortable home! The home was well stocked, and very clean. It has a beautiful view! It is stocked with lots of fun games and good movies. We had a great time in that area with lots of things to do.

Beautiful Cabin, Amazing views
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin easily for three families, 10 people total with room to spare. It was only about 15-20 from the ski areas and town. The neighborhood is a bit of a climb to get to the top where the cabin is but more than worth it. Remote with fantastic views and the cabin itself really gives you the mountain feel. Host was very responsive and gracious to us. 10/10 recommend this one if you visit Winter Park.

Fantastic cabin!
This cabin has everything you need; it’s such a cozy stay. Plenty of rooms, full kitchen, lots of places to hang out, board games galore… can’t say enough good things about it. Lorna was extremely communicative and was very helpful. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

The location of this house is beautiful. The house had everything that you could need. My grandson loved the pool room. We had plenty of space for the 10 of us.Lorna was a fantastic host. We would love to visit again.

Fabulous, classic Colorado mountain vacation home
Group of 11 of us, some from the Front Range, some from LA, enjoyed a phenomenal family weekend away in this amazing home. Easy to relax by the fire and play games. Great kitchen to prep and cook all meals. Plenty of space to all eat together at the dining table. Easy access to Fraser (tubing) and Grand Lake (Sunday funday adventure and skating on the lake). Highly recommend the need for 4-wheel drive in the winter to get to/from the home.

Family Reunion!!
Our family reunited from: Florida, Texas, Canada, and Australia….to remember my parents. We grew up spending our summers at Devils Thumb Ranch, where we had our cabin. This house was absolutely amazing! The kids loved the bunk room, adults loved the large bedrooms. We cooked together in.the beautifully appointed kitchen It was the perfect location for us!

Beautiful and quiet retreat
Property is isolated enough to enjoy the peace, quiet and serenity of the surroundings. Had family in town from Italy for Christmas. Our vacation revolved around family and food. The house was well equipped, clean, and exceeded our expectations. Communication with the owner was timely and professional, and made us feel comfortable in borrowed space. Great view!
Great place with responsive host. The property has a great view and the area is nice in the summer due to proximity of activities including rafting, fishing, boating, hiking, birding, napping, eating, drinking, Rocky Mountain National Parking, swimming, zip lining, horseback riding, wildlife viewing, botanizing, shopping, and rubber necking. We will definitely try to return in the future.

Beautiful mountain cabin!
Thank you for sharing your BEAUTIFUL home with us. It was stocked with everything you could possibly need. The location was just 15 to 20 minutes from anything we were wanting to do. On the plus side we had fresh powder and enjoyed a lot outdoor activities! Thank you again, we had a wonderful break from work….

Secluded Cabin
This cabin is exactly as described. We enjoyed it very much - it was clean and very well stocked. The deck is amazing for taking in the scenery or the stars. We are a family group of 10 with adults, teens, and kids. Teens and kids enjoyed the out of the way upstairs and downstairs recreation areas. Whole family enjoyed the pool table. The large dining table was great for a big group. Would stay here again for sure!

Family gathering
East coast and west coast family met up together in Colorado to enjoy Rocky Mountain National Park. All of the "kids" are adults now. It is harder to find time to get together. Thankfully, we all enjoy the outdoors and hiking together. The house was gorgeous. The hosts have thought of everything visiting families might need. It was a great location for us to get into the park and enjoy our time in Colorado.

Oh my gosh what a beautiful cabin. We've stayed at multiple cabins in the Rockies, but this one is by far THE BEST. Great communication from the hosts. The pictures don't do justice to how BIG and gorgeous the rooms are. We enjoyed a lot of time in the huge kitchen/dining/living area. And the view, OMG the view is incredible. These hosts are pros. They've thought of everything from the second you book, to the seasoning for your steak, to a proper checkout. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay here. HIGHLY recommend to future guests.

Amazing house & view! This was the most beautiful property & had the greatest views.
This house was absolutely gorgeous & had the most amazing views. Everything was top notch just as Lorna had stated. She was super friendly & easily available. You definitely didn’t need to bring anything with you other than personal items. It was stocked with everything! Very easy to get to. We were hoping to see lots of snow & we did. It snowed the day before we got there & some while we were there which made for such a beautiful vacation. We would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful home and location
We loved the views out on the main porch and the surroundings of this beautiful home. We took our two daughters and families, 11 in all. Each family had their own floor and bathroom, very nice. This house was well equipped with food items, bathroom supplies and other amenities. The neighborhood was beautifully quiet and serene and we viewed a moose one morning from the porch. The owner responded immediately to one or two questions we had. The three entertainment areas on each floor were well used, there was a TV on each level also a handy feature. The home was as depicted and represented on the website, a great place to stay.

What an amazing place!
Nestled in Winter Park Highlands, this property was the perfect place for our Spring Break ski trip. We skied both Granby and Winter Park which were both about the same distance from our cabin. The kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of dishes and pots and pans. We didn’t eat out one time which was a money saver for our group of six. The two master suites and 4 bathrooms made traveling with a group much easier. The interior is cozy and well decorated to make you feel warm comfortable. Very relaxing after a full day on the slopes. This is a very luxurious home and we were all extremely pleased with our stay. Thank you, Lorna, for making our vacation unforgettable. We’ll be back!

Beautiful and accommodating property
We had a great time and the house was adequate for our group. We had some vendor issues - cleaning staff was still cleaning 90 minutes after check-in and we had a terrible experience with the wood vendors (arrived drunk, threw wood in pile of garage so we couldn’t use it, damaged one of our snowboards). The property owner thanked us for letting her know and that vendor won’t be used again so future guests shouldn’t have to worry. The house needs some very minor repairs that owner is aware of and is working on fixing. Overall, beautiful house (and views!) that is great for a group.

Great place for a family reunion
12 family members gathered here for our annual reunion. Cabin views were gorgeous. The place was spacious enough to house us all. Wifi worked well, especially for being way up in the mountain. The cabin was very well stocked. There were plenty of spices, cooking ingredients, condiments, paper towels, toilet paper, games and outdoor gear. The only thing lacking were bath towels, there were not enough for all of us. My husband, son and I had to share one towel...The only other disappointment was the location. It was an 8 minute drive up the mountain. To get to a grocery store was about 20 minutes. You definitely don't want to forget anything on your shopping run! The host was very communicative, always answered messages same day. Overall, a great stay.
