"Check on was a bit frustrating with the self served machine, it was unable to read our passport even after cleaning the glass, fortunately you can manually enter the info. Breakfast was a no fills affair, with friendly stuffs, there is also a great pizza place (pizza box) nearby. Wish the door was more sound proofed, woken up a few time was late check in guests. "

"Absolutely cannot fault this beautiful hotel. The owners are just the most amazing hosts. Felt at home when staying here and absolutely nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is immaculately clean. Breakfast is the best breakfast I’ve eaten at a hotel before. Perfect location in Rabat and the nearby Mdina. Honestly would recommend this hotel time and time again. "

"Thie Villa Serenity surpassed our expectations. This family run bed and breakfast felt like being at home with lovely areas to sit inside and out, spectacular views from the roof, and friendly greetings all round. "

"This property was exactly what my son and I were looking for - small hotel to use as a base. Hotel was spotless. Friendly staff, always saying hello. Have to give a huge shout out to Mohammed, always on the desk, was absolutely wonderful from the first meeting. If you needed something you just ask and he will do his best to help. Also a wee mention to the shop down the stairs, very friendly staff"

"Characterful, in quiet part of Malta, mostly avoiding the tourist hordes. Owners are very friendly and welcoming with travel tips and advice. Maltese bakery within 100yds is great for breakfast takeaway Maltese style ie large portion, lots of sugar. Breakfast apple pie is a must try if you're not worried about calories. "the place is newly rennervated with clean, modern and spacious rooms. the place is quiet and safe as the door has a code for guests. The breakfast is great with customed made omelettes. Very close to castle , restaurants and shopping. Parking, you need to drive around with in a block or two "

"This 8-room B&B was a fine choice for my 4 nights in Sliema, after having been traveling for about a month elsewhere in Greece and Malta. It was an easy 1 minute walk to the promenade, which offered plenty of options for tours, eating, shopping, bus routes, etc. The hotel’s 2 housekeepers/cooks were delightful ladies. Natasha and Sunti (?) made sure my needs were met, even though the hotel has no reception area. They set out an ample selection of foods in the AM and made a few hot items...

"We had a lovely 6 days at the Old Mill, the hosts were kind and friendly, full of useful local knowledge. We did hire a car which afforded us some freedom, it is a little isolated, but there is a bus stop opposite and Bolt operates. My daughter and I were lucky to have the room with a large balcony over looking farm land and to the sea. We sat there at night too, listening to the silence, or fireworks or star gazing. "This is a beautiful place to stay and the staff are great. Our flight was delayed and we had to arrive at the suites 10 hours later than expected, but the staff arrived to welcome us. We had a choice of breakfast each morning which was lovely to start everyday with. The room and property was clean, and the pool was a welcomed addition in 34° The service from staff was brilliant, and we would absolutely stay here again."

"Excellent place to stay! Friendly people, beautiful accommodations! Perfectly located and has a rooftop pool to boot! The only criticism would be the mattresses… they were too firm for our liking and it made it hard to sleep, but we like soft beds so anyone else may not have an issue at all. We are already planning our next trip to Malta and plan to book here again"

Excellent Service: Definitely A Resort Style

"This was my first time staying on the north part of the island. Excellent access to Gozo and Popeye. The room was spacious and breakfast always had a variety of options. The weather wasn't too great while I was there, but there were indoor pools, sauna, and a (tiny) gym. There were always people in the lobby having a drink and sometimes there was live music. The service was also excellent. Kis (at check-in) was wonderful and explained all of the amenities that that hotel & spa had to offer. If I wanted a relaxing weekend, I would definitely consider staying here again."

"Spent our honeymoon here. Staff couldn’t do enough for us, friendly, welcoming, helpful. Pointed us in the direction of some excellent suggestions for meals out - (peppino’s is a must try!) Breakfasts here were exceptional, huge range of everything you can think of. Full English, cold cuts, cheeses, massive choice of breads, some dishes cooked to order (eggs Benedict 😋) Facilities were superb, indoor pool and gym, the outdoor pool on the roof had a fantastic bar/plenty of sunbathing areas, great view across st Julian’s. Room was comfy, luxurious, good proportions, excellent shower, huge bathroom. Couldn’t find a single area to criticise the hotel, clean throughout and every member of staff was a credit to the hotel. Would return in a heartbeat! Pound for pound best value hotel I’ve ever stayed in."
