Excellent location in a quiet area but within the center of the mountain resort. The panoramic view of the mountains that can be admired from here is breathtaking. Szklarska Poręba is a town located at an altitude of 440-886 m above sea level. on the border of the Karkonosze and the Jizera Mountains at the foot of Szrenica (1361 m above sea level). Szklarska Poręba is a winter sports center with a well-developed network of ski lifts, ski slopes and cross-country trails. An exceptionally spacious, 2-level apartment located on the second and third floor of a modern apartment building (there is an elevator). It is adapted for comfortable rest for up to 6 people. On the lower level there are 2 separate double bedrooms (separate TV in each) and a bathroom with a shower. From one bedroom there is an exit to a spacious balcony, where a set of lounge furniture awaits. On the upper level there is a large living room with a well-equipped kitchenette. The living room has a fold-out double sofa bed, TV and a table with chairs (exit to the second balcony). On the same level there is also a large wardrobe and an additional toilet (there is also a washing machine). Central heating. An iron is provided. Wireless internet is available. All guests of the resort have free access to the sauna and a small playroom for children. There is free parking on the premises. Attractions in the area: The surrounding area is ideal for a variety of activities, including skiing, hiking and cycling. The city center within a few steps. we walk for about 30 minutes. The Dinosaur Park is nearby (2 km) - an undoubted attraction for the youngest. The Izerska railway station is about 1.5 km away. It is a great starting point for the Czech Republic. Szklarska Poręba is primarily mountains, mountain hikes, and in winter a winter sports center (SKI Arena Szrenica ski complex). Szrenica - a peak with a height of 1362 m above sea level, to which a cable car leads. At the top there is a mountain shelter "Szrenica". On the slope of Szrenica, it is worth seeing the original rock groups: Trzy Świnki, Twarożnik and Końskie Łby. The Szklarki waterfall is the second largest waterfall in the Polish Karkonosze Mountains, whose cascade reaches a height of 13.3 m. The stream falls in a wide stream narrowing at the bottom. By the waterfall, there is a small hostel "Kochanówka". There is a bar inside. It is worth going to the nearby Karpacz and try to climb the Śnieżka peak - the highest peak of the Karkonosze Mountains (1602 m above sea level) Glassworks "Julia" is a place where history, the beauty of glass masterpieces and the manual production process intertwine. During the guided tour, you can see the process of crystal production in a working glassworks. There is a factory shop next door. The rope park "Trollandia" is located in the city center. It is a high-altitude system of platforms and rope obstacles installed in trees. A safety system is installed in the park - 100% safety. The participant is attached to the safety rope at the beginning of the route, freely overcomes obstacles without having to change over, only at the end of the route is he released from the rope by the instructor. The facility is also open in winter. The Izerska Railway weaves among the Izera Mountains and the Karkonosze Mountains. It connects Jelenia Góra, Cieplice, Szklarska Poręba, Jakuszyce and the Czech Harrachov. From the windows of the train you can admire the mountain landscapes, especially since - due to the winding and steepness of the route - the train is moving slowly. The ticket can be purchased directly in the carriage.
