Beautiful accomodation to stay at in Sydney, a friend and I flew in for a training course for the weekend and were welcomed with a huge smile from Lupita at reception. The Vulcan Hotel has an excellent location, which is a definite advantage. However, in my experience, it doesn’t quite live up to its four-star rating. While I’m not entirely familiar with the criteria for such ratings, as a frequent traveler, I find this hotel falls short compared to other four-star properties I’ve stayed at. Although the staff were friendly and helpful, the room I stayed in had several issues, including a musty smell, poor ventilation, and an overall damp feeling.
