Location is everything to me and this hotel gave me that.
Shared bathroom. Worked out alright. Just above a karaoke and pub. Didn’t bother me. Had fans. But was central to everything and easy to access with self check in

Right in center business district with restaurants, shopping and public transportation.
Decent size room. Right in a busy cool part of Sydney. No toilet, but the toilets are close. Really clean room and facilities. I'd fully recommend to busy travellers. It's definitely not quiet as there's bars and noise everywhere. I loved the noise and buzz of everything. The streets get quiet around midnight during the week nights and later in the weekend. If you're looking for somewhere quiet, this is not for you. Personally, i thought the room was perfect!
Close to Central Station. Convenient place to crash after a win at the footy! Go Swans!

Very, let’s say, rustic style room and super basic. Its an old pub hotel accommodation that’s been renovated to an ok standard. It’s very loud in the rooms because the windows face George St and they are not double glazed. Comfy bed.
Room was great, excellent location on George st. A little warm in the room but adaptable with the windows open and two fans (one ceiling and one portable). Bathrooms clean. Great if you like an old style pub in a great location with multiple dining and entertainment venues around, this is value for money for Sydney!
In addition, fun was had downstairs in the main bar for karaoke night! Drinks very reasonably priced and great fun crowd for someone middle aged. There was a little noise in my room when I left the karaoke, but it didn’t bother myself. Ear plugs are provided. No fridge, cups or glasses in the room so may want to bring your own (cups not fridge)

The shower available did not have hot water.
The room was clean however i was unable to open the windows.
They did provide earplugs which worked really well to block out the pub noise.
Be aware there are a few stairs to climb to gwt to your room
Spacious room and centally located hotel. The room was ok, although I was missing a desk. The bed was convenient.
Bathroom and toilet were shared with other rooms.
Wifi was provided, but the connection was slow.
The bar/restaurants downstairs played music until 10pm/midnight depending on the day. Street was also a bit noisy at times. was also s
Great central location, but due to this it is noisy so not recommended for sensative people. Room was nice, but quite hot and stuffy even with the ceiling fan on. Otherwise no isssues. Email confirmed codes day of travel - no online check-in required.

The rooms are decent size, has a fan but no aircons. Fans dont do the job in summer. It can get a bit noisy here due to the location but it's pretty handy and serves the purpose for many.

Brilliant location in the city. Was very noisy, but I expected that. Ear plugs are provided. Hot water in room was not present at 1am, but fine in the morning. Was a simple room with a bed and chair. I didn’t need frills as I was only there to sleep. Bed and linen was lovely and comfortable. No air conditioning, but fan was there and windows open. Was great value for money especially for location. Great if not spending lots of time there and just need a place to rest.

Rooms are huge you could easily fit another full size bed in one room along. Really great location on the corner of George street right down from the Chinatown Tram Stop.
My only gripe is that it got extremely hot with a piddly ceiling fan, they had an old aircon unit installed in the room i was in but no remote. Please install aircon its necesary to get a good nights sleep in summer.
If you have the windows open the sound from the pubs will be loud but it's the city so *shrugs*.
The bathrooms are incredibly clean although i would appreciate either another bar of soap for the shower or wall mounted body wash dispensers in the showers. One bar of soap and one towel isn't enough for 2 people.

House and room access via code went really well, so that was not an issue but the room I stayed in was very noisy as the windows are not double glazed, old and the room looked out onto George St. There was also no aircon and only a fan. Combined, this made for an average night of broken sleep.
No availability for after hours service and we had a medical emergency and locked ourselves out of our room.
Hot. Sauna. The rooms have no aircon. I literally left at midnight to get icy poles. The taps only have warm water! We sprayed ourselves all night with water.
Because it was so hot we needed to leave the window open and it was so loud.
If you in the city for an all night bender go for it but totally would never stay here again.
