Positives are the charm of an old world ambience, proximity to tourist spots such as The Opera House, Circular Quay and the Botanic Gardens and harbour. Food is good, coffee excellent and staff friendly. Oir stateroom was well appointed, clean and had a good outlook. Only negative is the condition of furniture and furnishings-they are getting tired and could do with some tender loving care. If you love the position and don’t mind faded elegance this is a winner.

Old and charming hotel in a great location. All the small things you’d hope for like a kettle with coffee and tea selections, iron and boards, hair dryer and toiletries.
