We provide guests a fully stocked refrigerator and pantry - breakfasts, snacks beverages and essentials are all included in the nightly rate in this home. Spend time enjoying the sights of Sydney without wasting precious vacation time at the grocery store buying essentials. Long term guests would replenish short term consumables such as milk or juice.
Eat meals in a galley-style kitchen with custom-made cabinetry and essential modern appliances, including an integrated dishwasher, espresso machine, and fully stocked under-counter fridge. Serve meals at the kitchen's two-seater table, set beneath a sun-drenched light well.
Snuggle up in a spacious living area with a plush leather sofa. A large glass top coffee table is perfect for snacks or spreading out maps. Create a meeting or dining table by wheeling out the desk. In the evenings, a state-of-the-art lighting system lets you set the perfect mood in each room - turning a bright work space into a romantic hideaway in an instant. Two spacious desks allow couples to work independently. Laptops in photos not included but we can provide a Windows compatible monitor if required, with notice.
End days freshening up in a sleek bathroom fitted with a black granite vanity, tiled shower with rainwater shower head and all your bathroom essentials.
When you're ready to snooze, head to your inviting master bedroom - featuring a plush queen-size Tempur bed. There's a large ottoman to lounge and read and another large desk space. The bedroom also has a flat-screen TV with cable, so you can watch movies and favourite shows while lazing beneath the bed's luxury linens.
The living room offers a plush newly restored 3 seat leather sofa, a Le Corbusier style chais lounge, and either our Jaguar car company leather chairs or our Lammhults Chicago cream fluted chair so guests have plenty of options for lazing around.

Guests have complete access to their floor. We live upstairs, but use the rear entrance to our residence, so it's unlikely you will see us between your welcome and departure. Most guests self check-out.

Since covid, we don't usually personally meet our guests but a quick & greet can always be arranged. Our Insiders Guide includes all important house, local area and Sydney information for guests and if additional assistance is required, you can contact us via phone, SMS, rental platform, or email.

The residence is located in a delightful neighbourhood of tree-lined streets of Paddington with Victorian terrace houses. While the setting feels quiet and peaceful, it's close to some of Sydney's most fashionable districts and iconic sights.
Hip cafés within 2 minute walk, art galleries, harbourside parks, chic boutiques and a fabulous dining scene are all minutes from your door, with convenient transport links nearby.

The local dining scene in Paddington & surrounds is truly eclectic, with everything from Japanese, Korean and Thai, to Indian, Mexican, European, and contemporary Australian restaurants nearby.
For a casual bite, stroll 4 minutes to Sea Cow - a popular seafood eatery with locals. Feel like an extra special dining experience? Walk the same distance to many upscale restaurants in the local area for a relaxing lunch or dinner.
Italian food lovers are in for a treat. Within a 4-minute walk, you can enjoy cocktails and pasta at Bar Machiavelli, authentic Roman cuisine at Marta Osteria, or upscale Italian fare at Buon Ricardo - a Sydney dining institution.
For a sweet treat, walk 7 minutes and order indulgent ice creams at Gelato Messina, 6 or 7 minutes away. In the evenings, you can sip ice cold lagers and cocktails in a host of local pubs, bars and hotels located within a 5-15 minute walk.

This house in Paddington, bordering Darlinghurst & Rushcutters Bay is surrounded by a host of fashionable Sydney neighbourhoods, offering endless opportunities for care-free exploration.
Meander along the surrounding tree-lined streets to nearby Paddington Village (Five ways) for cafes, boutiques, and premier hair salons. Take a jog or lazy stroll around Rushcutters Bay Park (just a 5-minute walk away). Enjoy a game at the tennis courts, or walk along the water's edge around the marina before stopping for lunch.
Darlinghurst is just across the road for pour-over artisan coffee houses, international restaurants, and cocktails bars. Potts Point (an 8-minute walk) charms with its historic Art Deco buildings, leafy streets, dining spots, and local neighbourhood theatres.
Save time to explore glitzy harbourside suburbs such as Double Bay (a 15-minute walk or 5-minute drive) and flit between boutiques, cafes and restaurants. Murray Rose Pool (Redleaf Pool) and Seven Shillings beach are just a few more minutes up the road. Be sure to soak up the buzz of the city's Central Business Direct (around a 25-minute walk or 10-minute drive).

Walk 5 minutes to sights including the Jewish Museum, or take a lazy 15-minute walk to the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia. Have a fabulous lunch or dinner at one of the many restaurants on the marina at Woolloomoloo Wharf (a 20-25 minute walk). Here, you can dine against a beautiful harbourside backdrop of luxury yachts and cruisers.
Walk across the Domain - a sprawling parkland that hosts large-scale events during the year to the NSW Art Gallery (a relaxing 20-25 minute walk) and the Royal Botanic Gardens (30-minute walk).
And of course, a visit to Sydney wouldn't be complete without digging your toes into the soft white sand of world-famous Bondi Beach - just a 13-minute drive from your door.
Getting Around:

Taxi or Uber are the best ways of getting to and from Sydney Airport. Sydney Domestic and International airports are around a 20 minute car drive during non-peak hours (depending on traffic conditions and the day of week .
The area is well-serviced by buses and trains.
• Rushcutters Bay is a major bus transport line to either the CBD, Bondi Jn or Watson’s Bay.
• Glenmore Rd Paddington, and Oxford Street are also a short walk away for other major bus routes.
• Bus stops to Bondi, Double Bay, Watson’s Bay, Sydney CBD, and the theatre district. Train stations are a 5-7 minute walk away.
• Our closest train station is Kings cross - just a 7-minute walk from home. Kings Cross is 1 train stop away from Martin Place (in the Sydney CBD) or 2 stops to Town Hall.
• We loan guests Opal Transport cards (required for easily travelling on Sydney's transport system) during their stay. Just place credit on them for your trips. Please just leave the Opal cards for our next guests.
