Harbourside Comfort and Charm

Located on the 2nd floor of historic and Heritage protected "Goldsbrough Mort", this property has all the charm of apartments in this famous building, such as high ceiling features and exposed timber beams, plus advantages of its own. The alternative entrance on the second floor provides direct access to Harris street from which the Fish market is just a stroll away, and to the covered footbridge that directly connects to the Convention Centre lightrail station and to the Harbourside Shopping Centre and the Hard Rock Cafe, from where it is a short pleasant walk to Cockle Bay Wharf and everything Darling Harbour has to offer -- the Sydney Aquarium, the Star Casino, the many restaurants and cafes... This one bedroom apartment is in excellent condition and tastefully furnished. It is totally self catering as the kitchen has a dishwasher and all necessary utensils and cookware. The bathroom has a washing machine and dryer. The gym, pool and sauna of the complex are accessible and included in the rates.
Check in must be before 10pm- Access to the building after this time requires a fob.

Well located for easy moving around the city. Only real negative was sound of people coming & going in next door apartment and foot traffic above. Dishwasher malfunction on short cycle.

The apartment was very clean, comfortable and in a great location near light rail and ferry stops. My only suggestions for improvement would be letting incoming guests know that access is either through the Oaks Hotel if using the front entrance or through the fourth storey of an adjoining carpark if arriving by light rail. Older style spacious unit with good facilities for self contained cooking and sleeping. Easy access to Darling Harbour. Reasonable value for exorbitant Sydney area.
