The Freshwater Hideaway is situated on a tree lined avenue and is a seperate upstairs apartment owned by the best hosts possible, Tina and Mike.
The apartment is large and airy, with plenty of windows to let the light in but also restrict the summer heat. There are great ceiling fans and air conditioning if required. The two bedrooms are large, comfortable with plenty of storage.
The kitchen is big enough with everything required except for a chef but Mike also provided that service on one special night. The narrow toilet is supplemented by a separate large bath and shower suite next door.
There were more than enough towels, even big enough to fit round my waist, plus the beach towels. We never ran out, even when my Australian family arrived to try out the pool.
The large living/dining area is large enough to hold a dance and the large television has access to multiple channels and everything else that you can do with a television.
The best I have left to last, as far as I am concerned, the glass walled veranda, where we sat every day, drinking tea and eating lunch and the location of the second love of my life, the Barbeque, what hours of enjoyment I spent, cooking.
There are plenty of cleaning materials supplied, to maintain the clean and bug free environment.
The apartment is situated between the two main bus routes and the beach and town centre are, for me an easy and enjoyable 20 minute walk.
Tina, Mike and family are excellent hosts.
