"We loved our time staying at Midsummer Barn. The pictures online do not do it justice. It has character and charm. "We had an amazing stay, loved the atmosphere and the view from the property, the pictures don’t quite capture how cozy it was. The garden is fenced and chicken wire all around so was very secure for our pet. we would love to stay here again and would definitely recommend to friends "

"We stayed for a weekend during a very hot spell. The cottage and gardens were delightful (great for playing hide and seek with the grandkids!) and the hosts welcoming. Be aware that it is on the flightpath for landing/take-off from Manchester airport so can be noisy - but on the upside, the kids enjoyed watching the planes! Co-op in the village for groceries, good fish & chips and local pubs for eating out. Would be helpful to have this information/contact details in the cottage. Would recommend...
