This light and spacious cottage is situated on a picturesque estate farm through which the River Clydach passes en route to Swansea Bay. Heated by green energy, the family friendly Ty Cerbyd has it's own private riverside patio area - a magical place to drink your morning cup of tea listening to the babbling brook and birdsong. A well equipped modern kitchen diner with high quality appliances leads into a lounge with views across a courtyard fringed by giant beech trees. Here you will find comfortable seating, HDTV with Freesat and our popular information folder packed with ideas of what to see during your stay at the heart of South Wales. The cottage is traditional in style. Historic pictures tell of its past life as an estate outbuilding. There is a downstairs WC and upstairs bathroom with bath tub and over-bath shower. The Master Bedroom has a kingsize bed and a splendid view over the River Clydach where grey wagtails, dippers and wild trout can be spotted. The twin bedroom looks out over the courtyard. Both bedrooms have exposed beams. There is parking right outside the cottage door, free WiFi throughout and guests are free to explore over a hundred acres of private grounds including hillside areas with panoramic views across the Bristol Channel and beyond. The cottage is in a perfect location for exploring South Wales' must see attractions such as the Gower Peninsula - Worm's Head, Rhosilli and Three Cliffs Bay in addition to the Brecon Beacons National Park, National Showcaves, Waterfall Country and Carreg Cennen Castle. Despite it's secluded peaceful location, the cottage is very convenient to the road network (although you would never guess when you're nestled in your cottage) and there is a 24 hour supermarket just over a mile away. There is also a great pub restaurant in the village.
