This property is a perfect base from which to explore the historic township of Swansea and the splendour of Great Oyster Bay and the Freycinet Peninsula. With three bedrooms it comfortably accommodates six people, and is great for couples or families.
There is plenty of off-street parking, so leave you car at the home when you wander 3 minutes into town for a coffee, a visit to the bakery, to one of the many restaurants or beaches.

The long lounge room is furnished with two 2-seater sofas and an armchair, nestled on cosy carpets. The reverse cycle air conditioner and portable panel heaters heat or cool the property to your personal comfort level and there is a small electric fireplace in the lounge room for ambience. During the day, sunlight floods into the room through two windows. In the evening, the smart TV enables you to stay up to date with your favourite Netflix programs.
Powered entirely by green energy, most of which is produced by the large roof-top solar system, this property will appeal to city slickers and environmentalists alike.
The unlimited Wi-Fi is free and fast.
The solid pine table and chairs are classic Tasmanian in style and are perfect for a lunch or dinner with family/friends.
The kitchen is fully equipped, as you would expect. The oven and stove top are electric. The 390 litre fridge will safely hold all your food and drinks. There is a kettle, café style toaster, crockery, wine and water glasses, and lots of cooking utensils.
The laundry holds a top loading washing machine, complimented by a clothesline in the back yard and an indoor airer.
Guest Access
Guests have exclusive access to the whole property.
The keys can be found in the lockbox beside the front door. The code will be sent to you shortly before your arrival.
The property is self check-in, making it very convenient as you don't need to meet anybody for keys. An emergency contact person is available all the time for issues relating to the property, but other than that there will be no interaction with guests, so you can enjoy the space privately.
We have a minimum 3-night stay, but you will need a lot more than that to experience the town and surrounding area.
Pets are not permitted.
The area
The Freycinet Peninsula is on your doorstep, as is Coles Bay and Wineglass Bay. Maria Island is also a deservedly popular destination. Take a selfie on the local convict built – spiky bridge, or enjoy the walk past several buildings in town, steeped in history. The Bark Mill Tavern still has the bark milling equipment from which it gets its name on display.
