Welcome to Evelyn’s Front Porch. Our family has lived here for 50 plus years and we have been an integral part of the community since 1969. Our house is centrally located in historic downtown Swansboro, within walking distance to local restaurants, bars, and entertainment. It is a short drive to beautiful local Crystal Coast beaches. If you’re looking for the full Swansboro and Crystal Coast experience, this is the place for y’all.

A spacious 3 bedroom and 1 full bathroom open concept house that sleeps six people comfortably. Great room, dining room and full kitchen with a shared laundry room. A large front porch to enjoy the day along with a grill and outdoor seating. It is within walking distance to downtown Historic Swansboro that has many choices of restaurants, bars, and shopping. A short drive to the amazing Crystal Coast beaches. A fabulous vacation spot!

This is a “ duplex rental home”. There is an additional 1 bedroom, 1 full bath rental located in the back with separate entrance. No living spaces are shared in exception for the laundry facilities that are on a scheduled time for each rental with separate entry. Also displaying original, stunning artwork from local artists that is available for purchase!

Perfect for a girls’ weekend!
We loved this house! The hosts were very communicative and helpful. The house is in a nice neighborhood a stone’s throw from downtown Swansboro and the riverside. It’s perfect for a few adults or couples. The only drawback is one bathroom shared between the three bedrooms, but it’s at least a nice size and beautifully renovated. It was no issue for my girlfriends and I. We’ll be back!

We were in town for a birthday celebration. The property was located right across the street from my in-laws that were hosting the gathering. Couldn't have worked out better. We enjoyed the welcome basket and all of the amenities provided in the house. The house was nice and spacious. Beds and couch were comfortable. The location is close to downtown Swansboro, walkable or a short drive. Which was very convenient. The only negative was that there was a bit of a musty smell, not overwhelming but it was evident when you first walked in the house. Other than that a wonderful experience and we would stay again when we are back in town.

The property was great, well stocked, and clean. There were a few minor issues. The bathroom sink drains slow when brushing your teeth. The dryer didn't have heat so it took several cycles to dry 1 load. Beds were comfortable, and the location is great. Short srive to EI for some beach time.

Excellent stay!
We enjoyed our stay very much. We spent time relaxing on the front porch and playing games inside. Amenities were as described in the listing. Our host was communicative and accommodating to our needs. The shared laundry was a bit of a challenge since we weren't at the house very much. It would've been ideal to have some evening options. I don't know if a "sign up" of sorts would be feasible. We would definitely stay here again though.

Family beach trip
This home was the perfect fit for our family of 4. Each kid got their own room which was nice! Clean property, great neighborhood. The park right down from the house was a nice bonus for my 5 year old. Not far from EI and only about 30 mins from Atlantic beach so all the activities were within easy reach. Host was accommodating to our needs and questions and always responded quickly! Would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hospitality. The house was well furnished with everything we needed in the kitchen. The location is an easy drive to fishing, beach access, and plenty of dining. The neighborhood was quiet and great for walking our dog. We will definitely stay here again if we are traveling to this area.

The house was convenient to the area. Having to share laundry area with the apartment and only having 8AM - 2PM was not ideal. Evenings would be better for a family. 1 bathroom for 5 people was ok, but made it comparable to a hotel room. Beds were not comfortable at all unless you like extra hard. The beds were the biggest negative. Everything else was good.

Quiet neighborhood. Very spacious and not overly furnished or decorated, which made for plenty of room to hang out and chat with friends. Communication was excellent, answered all my questions quickly. Queen size beds in every room. Very comfortable and cozy bedding. Super comfortable couch, great for napping. Bathroom had great lighting and had some basic extra items in case we forgot anything. Overall wonderful stay.

4th of July stay
Amy, the owner, was super fast with communication regarding any questions. She was very accommodating and helpful. Amy has thought of everything is make the home comfortable. The home's open floor plan worked great for our family of six. The front porch was a favorite spot to gather too. We enjoyed strolling the surrounding neighborhood and the quaint town ~ there was live music and a great fire works display for 4th. It was fun staying so close to all the festivities ~ Swansboro is a real gem and so is this home.

This rental was great. It was clean, bright and spacious with comfortable beds and couches. Downtown Swansboro is a cute waterfront area that is worth a visit. Close to everything. Would rent again in the future.
