Beautiful Full-Size Private Lakefront Gated Home with dock / boats

Our family's full-sized second home. It sleeps 14 people and would be great for small family reunions. You can watch and enjoy majestic eagles flying and fishing over the lake from any one of the 3 decks (upper and lower on the house, and one lakeside with attached dock. Pedal boat, 2 kayaks, rowboat, and canoe included. Firepit by the lake, lots of wood included. Fishing poles, golf clubs included, 2 bikes. Large lawn area in front and rear yards for your enjoyment. Weber gas grill on upper deck of house, with nearby umbrella table and extra chairs. Large hammock. Many blueberry bushes on property to pick during season. Modern kitchen, granite countertops, Large Jacuzzi tub in master bedroom. Large picture windows in bedrooms, living room, and dining room with amazing view of the lake. Kitchen fully equipped, ice maker, all cooking and serving utensils. 2 TV's, broadband wireless internet access, cable TV service, phone, air, piano.


Large room over 2 car garage: Has 2 single beds, a full bed, and Single bed with pullout single, and large sectional sofa, and new full bath recently added. Finished basement has 2 single beds, full bath, 2 sofas, a TV, small library, extra chairs, 2 back doors to large lower deck with hammock and heavy duty wood and leather chairs/glass table set. Perennial gardens in front and back of house. Upper deck is off of living room and has a gas grill, umbrella glass table with many extra chairs, and fantastic view of lake. Air conditioned. Unfortunately, we don't have a beach, but a rocky shoreline and rocky, muddy bottom, so swimming from shore is difficult.

Another great stay.
This was the second year my family has stayed in this property and again it was fo derail time in a fantastic property. The checkin was easy and the owner responded quickly to communications and requests. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Great for a group
We had a wonderful 4 night stay at the house. The grill and decks are a highlight, as well as the big windows and view of the lake. House comes with kayaks and canoes, plus a paddle boat, that are great since the lake is not ideal for swimming.

Swan Lake
The property is amazing and enough room for us all. The view was amazing. The paddle boat, canoe and kayaks were used frequently. We had a great time. The house needs TLC but it did not hinder our long weekend.

Awesome Getaway
We loved this beautiful spacious home ! The lake is breathtaking and my daughter took the most amazing pictures of bald eagles. You can hear the wildlife and it’s so uplifting to spend time here. Stargazing at night and hiking at local parks during the day made this a fantastic way to reconnect with our adult children. The Museum at Bethel Woods is not to be missed . The local barbecue places were top notch. We played games and floated on the lake. We also caught a lot of fish right off the dock!! I highly recommend this home if you want to get away from it all! ( good internet if you need to check in too)

Amazing!!!!!!
This was by far one of the nicest houses we have ever rented. Tramendous amout of room that made if feel spacious but yet cozy. The morning sunrises overlooking the lake and the autumn colors made the whole trip worth it. The house had everything, kitchen was fully furnished but unfortunately the coffee pot was cracked. Overall this is was a great vacation rental and i highly recomend it.

The house was great for large group lots of space. Great for boating.. Main issue is the swimming ability, really can walk into the water,. Extremely rocky, difficult to stand once you are in the water. Bring water shoes. Really not child friendly. Other than that , house was great.

Beautiful Lake Front
House really needs some TLC. It needs to be cleaned better. Very large, plenty of space for all my family. No sail for sail boat, row boat had a big hole, both bikes did not work, needed tires, jacuzzi did not work. Lake front was spectacular, beautiful property. Enjoyed fishing, Kayaks and canoe. Just wished all was cleaned better and all in working order as advertised.

Wonderful lake front retreat
This is a fantastic vrbo for a large group that wants to spend some quality time by the lake. The house is large, with plenty of beds, various communal areas, and a gorgeous lawn on the lake. Highlights include the 4-burner gas grill on the deck (we used it almost every night given the size of our group, making dinner prep a breeze), the fire pit that seems newly installed, the three decks including a hammock, and of course the lake and dock (including a paddle boat and kayaks that we used throughout the week). While the water is a bit mucky, we had a great time on floats and in the boats that came with the house. A number of us also had a great time swimming, though I recognize it wasn't for everyone. Overall a great house for a great price, we're already talking about coming back again next year!

Peaceful and Fun
Michael's accommodation was such a nice time for 2 couples for a long weekend. We had complete privacy, excellent views, and quiet peaceful surroundings. The provided fishing gear, kayaks, paddle boats were all well used and greatly enjoyed. The kitchen was stocked with all you could need and more in terms of seasonings and utensils and appliances. Michael was an excellent communicator and promptly available via email or phone. The lake surprisingly was relatively deserted, except for a few fisherman in the early morning. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms and kitchen clean and the upper deck BBQ was in excellent shape and cooked food evenly and well. We spent 3/4 of our stay either enjoying the lake or sitting on the lake side dock enjoying the view. Would stay here again in an instant. Thanks Michael!

A little bit of heaven
Beautifully decorated and comfortable like home. The direct view from the living room, dining room and three of the bedrooms are breathtaking. We had lousy weather so we could not take advantage of the boats and fishing gear provided however the view from the back decks were so nice that we spent most of our time on the decks watching the scenery and talking and enjoying my family. It was cold and windy but no rain. The owner quickly answered my question which included whether there was wood for the firepit. There was plenty of it and we enjoyed sitting around a fire one evening making Smores. Although there was plenty of privacy and a beautiful landscape, a few miles away is a supermarket and lots of restaurants in Liberty, NY. Don't miss this one.

The best VRBO ever
My wife and I, our daughter, son in law and 7 grandchildren stayed for a week in Michael's home at the end of August. This was clearly the best rental ( out of 14) we have ever experienced. Some of the pros: A box of tissues in every room (I know that sounds weird, but our last rental had none), lots of toilet paper, garbage bags, 2 refrigerators, lots of deck chairs, chairs by the beautiful and new fire pit, lots of fire wood, nice assortment of kayaks, canoe, row boat and peddle boat, lots of life vests, very clean place and beautiful hardwood floors. The TVs were simple to use ( some places we rented it was so complicated, we never watched) air conditioners in every bedroom, the most wonderful views of the lake, nice large upper deck, nice large lower deck, floating dock for fishing and to launch/tie up boats, storage for our things in the garage, great communication with Michael if we had a question, big clean Weber gas grill, extra folding tables available in garage, some interesting travel books available, lots of National Geographic magazines, lots of cabinets in the kitchen. Cons: None. We have already booked again for next year.

Unbelievable
This house is truely amazing. Firstly, the owner Mike was a pleasure to work with. He answered al of my questions promptly and made the process so easy. One of the great things about this house is how equipped it comes. All of the beds have fresh sheets, he provides ample clean towels for you to use, and the kitchen is fully stocked with all the plates, pots, glasses, spices that you could need. All you need to do is bring your toothbrush and whatever food you want to eat. The BEST thing about the house is the gorgeous lake. All I have to say is WOW! I have never seen a view as beautiful and as serene as this. Whether you're in the bedrooms, the living room, or on one of the 3 decks you are looking out onto this water and all you want to do is sigh at its beauty. This house would be perfect for families and for couples, but we went with about 10 of our friends to celebrate a 30th birthday and we had an unbelievable time here. Mike provides kayaks and paddle boats for you to take out onto the lake, which we did numerous times. We explored the other lake houses and learned that Mike's house has the best property and is the biggest, by far. He even has a volleyball net that you can set up and he has 2 bbqs with full propane tanks for you also. I honestly cannot imagine how the weekend could have been any more perfect. You wont be sorry if you rent out this house. My friends and i are still talking about how fun and spectacular that experience was! Thanks so much, Mike! We will surely be renting your house again in the future! =)

Our experience with the property
We had rented this vacation house over the New Year’s weekend (property #391612). The enjoyed our stay in the house; however, the experience with not having our deposit returned ruined our impression from the vacation. We communicated with the owner after having left the house thanking each other. Right after (the very next day) we posted an original nice review of the property (about one month after we have left the property) we received a nasty email from the owner informing us that they will not return our deposit due to “dirty floors and a dirty table”. We had cleaned out the whole house after ourselves, even going so far as to separate glass and plastic from regular trash, putting a lot of time and effort into it. We were not aware that we were also responsible for mopping the floors, and if any spots were missed on the table we are quite certain that the cleaning fee is there for a reason. We were not given any proof in the form of receipts, or any evidence that our deposit was spent to clean the kitchen floor and the dining room table (although we have asked the owner for the proof and/or receipts). Furthermore, the owner stated that he wanted to keep this private and not involve Homeaway, which we think is very shady. Further attempts to contact this owner were unsuccessfull. Our group of people rents out vacation houses every winter season for several years. Thus, we know what is expected in terms of cleaning after ourselves, and we never had any issues with having our deposits returned.

Our second time there. Lots of care and attention by the owner. No shortage of essentials like tissues, toilet paper, life vests, and lots and lots of room for the kids to play. Fishing was great for the kids, lots of pumpkin seed pan fish and short bass. Lots of beds for a large family.

A phenomenal family get together with our kids and grandchildren. The property is beautiful - the grounds exquisite. The house was so well stocked with everything we needed and more. Great weekend away
We were there for a concert at Bethel Woods. It was about a 15 minute drive which was great. The waterfront is beautiful and plenty of outdoor seating. The house had everything needed. The 2 upstairs bedrooms get a lot of morning sun which is great if you are a morning person. Good communication with owners throughout the process. Thanks.
