"We have been to The Cotswolds many times, but this is the first time staying at the Prince of Burford. We were made very welcome from the beginning and was even offered a complimentary drink on arrival, which you don’t get in all hotels. Room was lovely, spacious, clean and comfortable. "Excellent location, room are spacious and even though above the tavern you cannot hear any noise below. Breakfast was lovely, good choices. We parked near the castle (castle street car park) was £8 for 24 hours. Would highly recommended staying here "

"Stayed here before so we hopefully knew what to expect. Lovely room with a great comfy bed and facilities, shower and en-suite all working well and very clean. Short walk into town, bar and restaurant are excellent, will be back next year."

"Excellent!! Warm welcome followed by delightful service at dinner. Delicious mushrooms and pie - and plenty of it. The room is furnished in a modern style with everything I needed, including a comfortable bed. All this followed by my favourite breakfast - eggs Benedict cooked to perfection. "

"We loved the idea of staying in a castle and that in itself was magical. We stayed in the Cromwell Suite which is big. The kids loved the extra room to roam. The high ceiling in the living/2nd bed area was nice and contributed to the majestic feel.There were however a few things that could have been better.
