"Great hotel. The property is full of olive and kiwi trees. Staff were very welcoming, bringing us welcome drinks, snacks and fresh off the tree fruit. This hotel is on the outskirts but still very walkable to the old town. "

"The location can't get any better. Its in the old town, in a stunning building with incredible touches like old hardwoods and shuttered windows. The staff is incredible and will make your stay seamless. I can't imagine having stayed anywhere else."

"The room was as advertised. It was clean and had a comfortable bed. The room we had was small but functional, with a nice common terrace outside. The owner/manager doesn't live on premises or keep the office open, and we had to call the posted number to check in and arrange for checkout. The location was good for us, offering access to several places we wanted to go, since we had a car, but there are few services in town. "

"Where do we begin? We had a late flight and arrived to the villa 12.30 am. We were met there by the owners Emil and his wife. They were very friendly and helpful showing us around (even at that late hour). They had even bought us some groceries to get started. The property was immaculate. We used it as our base to visit the various beautiful sea towns of Vrsar, Rovinj and Pula. The pool is very private and a great outdoor eating area with barbeque awaits. "This is a hotel outside the city of Pula. Easy check-in, friendly staff, free parking, very good breakfast. Room is a little small and bathroom fixtures are odd, shower in particular. Water drains toward the door and runs out into the bathroom. There is no place to put soap or shampoo in the shower. "

"I can’t say this enough, the service at this hotel is top of the line. We had an issue with our room upon check in and the team at the hotel checked on us multiple times to ensure that everything was ok. They truly showed understanding and compassion throughout our stay. The amenities provided at Grand Park are the best I’ve seen in Croatia and would highly recommend. The view into the city of Rovinj is also incredible. The one item that I would suggest as an improvement is that it is clear the hotel is seeing some wear and tear that comes with its usage. Things like scuffs on hallways and dirt in certain parts of the hotel. This is my second time staying here and will definitely be coming back."

"The staff at Heritage Angelo was excellent. Very nice and accommodating. The cart to take us from the parking lot to the hotel was on time with a very friendly helpful driver. Breakfast was nice with a very kind friendly young lady helping us get what we need and keeping things stocked well. Great room with nice view. "

Top Five I’ve ever stayed in

"We had an amazing stay at the Residence Porta Antica! We called the hotel when we were unsure with parking and Claudia came in her cart to show us where to park and then drive us to the hotel! She was such a pleasure and so friendly! She gave us a warm welcome and recommended several restaurants, as well as ice cream places! She allowed us to keep our bags in the hotel after checkout because we were going to explore Rovinj before leaving the city. The room itself was stunning. The vibe of the hotel was beautiful and having the ocean right outside the window was perfect. We could not recommend this place enough! Great staff, great location, great rooms! "
