"The lobby was really great, and there is a restaurant inside the hotel that is very nice and had delicious food. However, the rooms were very outdated, even though it looked clean the carpet had some stains. Overall, the hotel is in a great location and it was easy to walk around the downtown area. "

"The front desk lady was excellent. When the restaurant charged me for breakfast by mistake, she made an extra effort to refund me the money. Very impressive, I really enjoyed the stay. "

"Very good hotel close to the old city center, not far from the railway station. This hotel has a pleasant style, it is located in the old building yet with a modern look, nice furniture, clean bathroom, good breakfast."

"The hotel is definietly not 4*, it's dark, dated and old. The room was clean, but you can see that they only spend money on maintenance if they need to. Cracked sink in the bathroom, with the cheapest handsoap/no shower gel or shampoo provided. No kettle or other tea/coffee making facilities, the minibar is super expensive. The breakfast was very basic, with limited options available after 8 (eventhough it's finishing at 10:30)."

"We stayed in apartment 209 nd the 2 radiators in the room were not working, only the radiator in the bathroom worked. Nevertheless, the air-conditioning supplemented the need, as it was quite cold outside. The microwave was ok, we found plates and basig cooking tools, but the fridge was so noisy that i had to unplug it to be ale to sleep. The sauna was all right, little not hot enough, but i have not attempted to change the temperature because it was fine. The swimming pool doesn't have warm...

"Lage: In einer kleinen Stadt an der Donau gelegen. Relativ ruhig, es führt zwar zwischen Unterkunft und Fluß eine Straße vorbei, wer damit eine Problem hat Zimmer nach hinten buchen. Empfehlenswert ist auch die Fähre über die Donau, spart man Zeit, Treibstoff und es ist lustig, klein aber oho! "Residential area, quiet. Staff were great, room well equipped. Only a few minutes from public transport and the city centre. Generally had a slightly worn look - furniture, etc but ok. Fridge in room was very noisy 24/7 and the air-con didn't work effectively - in need of a service perhaps? Breakfast was very basic, eggs cold (cooked for 7am?), if there was any left. I was ok with the stay especially with the very helpful and friendly staff."

Disappointing

"Overall a disappointing experience. The spa was very nice, but the restaurant dinner buffet had lukewarm food for a relatively expensive price in Hungary. The breakfast buffet was also lukewarm. After breakfast and before checkout time we returned to our room to find our keycards didn't work anymore. Eventually they reactivated them so we could get back in our room to collect our stuff. At checkout the staff were adamant I hadn't paid via Hotels.com even though I thought I had, and they swiftly prepared my invoice and gave me the payment terminal. While I was paying I was checking my Hotels.com emails and bank account, and only after the payment had gone through I found that I had indeed already paid via Hotels.com. The staff were fortunately able to reverse the transaction, but offered no apology for the mistake. We wouldn't stay here again."
