"Our stay was great, except for that one day that we didn't get to use the sauna and jacuzzi because it's maintenance day. Breakfast is sumptuous. Customer service is excellent. Staff is very helpful. The lobby looks like it needs some renovation. Place is very close to restaurants, shops and grocery store, walking distance to the water. My husband even briefly saw the Northern Lights one night. Can't wait to come back."

"I loved my stay at Guesthouse 102. It’s converted from an old miners housing which is very cool! It’s super cute and cozy. Breakfast was lovely (the waffles were the best). The staff are wonderful - thank you Khristin for helping me with bookings tours - she was the best)! It’s about 1.5 mile walk to the city center and you have to take your shoes off before you enter, which I really appreciate (so bring some slippers or indoor shoes to wear). I would absolutely stay here again next time I’m back! "

"I have mixed feelings about this hotel. We had to leave earlier than expected due to my father's health. The staff was friendly. The room was manageable. The Orbitz description of the property was not accurate. The hotel does not provide a kitchen area to guests. the room to the kitchen had a sign that said, "Staff only". Staff included anyone who worked in Batesburg--except the tourists. I was told I could use the kitchen facilities, but the "staff" were very territorial, so it became a bit of a challenge. I'd rate the hotel a 7. It's a beautiful city and I recommend you stay here for a day but that's it. "
