Decent place, Cleanliness
The dishwasher had a horrendous smell, as soon as we opened it, the kitchen was filled with a terrible odor. The couch near the front door smelled funky like it needed to be washed as well. Some of the sheets had a couple of stains on it as well. Bathroom has really good design but could be dangerous. Might be good if there was bath mats to decrease chance of slipping. Overall, other than the smell/cleanliness factors, the stay was good and provided us with everything that we needed.

Too-sensitive late-night fire alarm
The property is new and nicely-appointed, with plenty of space for our group of 4 adults and 4 kids. However, the unit shares an alarm system with the downstairs tenants, and every time they cooked they set it off - 4 out of the 5 nights of our stay, and often at almost 10pm. It's ear-splitting and can't be shut off from the VRBO unit, making this a challenging stay for groups with kids or anyone going to bed early. Host reported she asked tenants to run a fan but it had no impact.
