Steps to Pool Ground Floor Quiet Retreat

Summary:
Immaculate 2 bed/2 bath ground floor condo steps from the pool! Just 1.5 miles from Surfside Beach "The Family Beach", and located in Golf Colony of Surfside, you will enjoy serenity and relaxation in this friendly community. Parking is done by permit, but complimentary and plentiful. There is a fantastic pool deck that is rarely ever full and has plenty of seating for all, even in peak season. There is a beautiful covered and screened porch to enjoy morning coffee or afternoon beverages!

The Space:
Come enjoy this inviting 2 bed/2 bath first floor condo overlooking the pool and grilling area! Stepping inside, you will find the master suite with a queen bed, Roku TV, walk in closet and en suite bathroom including a tub/shower combo. The 2nd bedroom has 2 twin XL beds with a 2nd bathroom with stand up shower directly across the hallway. There is a large dining table with seating for 4 right next to the fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances. You will find a queen sleeper sofa in the living room along with love seat and 50" Roku TV for evening entertainment. Perhaps the highlight though is the screened porch steps from the pool that is shaded from the summer sun.

The Neighborhood:
Located between Business Hwy 17 and Hwy 17 Bypass, Golf Colony at Deerfield is right in the middle of Surfside Beach with easy access to restaurants, shopping and tons of amenities. There are 3 grocery stores, Target and Walmart within 3 miles or 10 minutes drive. Some of our favorite restaurants like the Wooden Spoon (brunch spot), Surfside Pizza (downtown Surfside), The Bar-B-Q House and Johnny D's Waffles (breakfast and brunch) are right around the corner. The world famous Murrells Inlet Marsh Walk is about 15 minutes south and there are additional restaurants and great shopping destinations in the Market Common where you can stroll the night away with the whole family. Getting Around:
A rental car is recommended. For a more fun vacation, gas powered golf carts are permitted on site and there is a direct route to the beach through the neighborhood.

Check out King of Carts of Surfside or A-Jax and you can get one delivered to the location!

Other Things to Note:
One dedicated parking space is available in front of condo. There is an overflow lot across the street and next to the Tennis courts for any additional vehicle.

We provide you with linens for all beds in the home as well as bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths for your stay. Additionally, there will be a roll of paper towels in the kitchen, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, hand and dish soaps and 2 laundry pods and 2 dish pods. All of this is included with the "cleaning fee". You will want to bring pool/beach towels for your stay and we recommend renting our awesome super light and durable backpack style beach chairs to make your stay even more enjoyable (available through a link after your booking)!

Loved our stay
The condo was very clean. It's convenient because everythong is on one floor and the pool is just steps from the back door. It's very close to everything and management was great and easy to communicate with. Only suggestion I have is to stock some cleaning supplies so the renters can keep things clean throughout their stay.

I liked that the property is tucked away off the main streets and although the property is in good condition, the area was undergoing additional renovations. What stood out most was that driving to the complex a night the surrounding area is very dark. Not enough lighting. However, the parking lot had ample lighting.

Great place and very clean
To say it made an impression on my wife is an understatement. She is not easily swayed. She and were very impressed with this property. Very clean and nicely laid out. Pool right outside the back porch. Easy in and out. Comfortable beds and all the basic necessities,clean neighborhood. Definitely will rent again!

The Usual
TV in Master Bedroom didn't work, lock was "finicky," somebody pumped the lock with so much graphite that every time you used the key, you had to wipe it off or risk stains on your hands/clothes. No sponge in kitchen. At check-in, the instructions were to use a lock contraption to access your keys/packet. Of course that didn't work and thankfully the office was open to help me. Marginally cleaner than usual VRBO properties. Adjust your expectations, and everything will be fine.

The area was very quiet even though we went down for the bike rally. Lots of over flow parking across the street for my truck and trailer and very well lit at night. Most places like this shun motorcycles and trailers but not here. There were lots of trucks and trailers parked in the over flow lot. We would and probably will stay here again in the fall as long as it stays motorcycle friendly. If I had to make one major complaint it would be the street conditions coming in and out, especially if you try to come in from hwy 17 bypass, it looks like it’s been carpet bombed by a B-52, my advice come in off off business 17, especially on a motorcycle. The streets in the complex needs major work!
