"If I could give this property 10 stars I would..it was absolutely spectacular. The panoramic view of the sea from the terrace was stunning and we made a lot of use of the mini- pool on the terrace. There is a wonderful covered terrace with a table and chairs and an outdoor shower as well as one inside so you can look at the sea while showering!!!!. We didnt use the BBQ or pizza oven but they were great features to have. Livia the owner had already sent us a welcoming email with useful tips on...

"Arriving at Bari we firstly had a message from Paola giving clear map directions via Google -allow at least 2 hours by car from the airport. The accommodation was on 2 levels which was a pleasant surprise as was the welcome pack of foodstuffs. Grateful too for the map of Lecce and Puglia given to us - none provided by the car hire company. Two nice restaurants in Lizzarello - Li Mori and Villa Pins. Good base for visiting much of Puglia and south managed Otranto and St M Leuca and north Ostuni...

"We had the best stay at Trullo Monia. The property and its grounds are awesome. A large gated drive way to the front with a really good size patio, BBQ area and pool to the side and rear. Although Monia couldn't be there to meet us in person she was available on the phone for any questions we had and was super helpful. We can highly recommend Trullo Monia. 5 stars from us!!!!"

Met by Gabriella whose English is perfect and who explained how everything worked and made local recommendations. The owner, Alessandro, popped by during the week (bringing local pastries!) to say hello and check everything was ok. "My husband & I had the most wonderful time in this very pretty authentic accommodation. Such a romantic setting with stunning views & very peaceful. The accommodation as basic as it is had everything we required & needed, the outdoor shower was just brilliant. Livia, the host’s daughter, was most helpful with supplying us with all the local information & her tips for eating out etc..Bruno & Livia were lovely & incredibly helpful! Would highly recommend this little rustic gem! "
