"Was a pleasant stay adjacent to the Lincoln National Forest. In fact a hiking trail was less than a minute walk out the back door. Though not secluded the neighborhood was quiet and respectful, and had daily visits by the local Mule Deer. There is a small fenced-in area in the back for dogs but you may have to leash your pet if they are prone to jumping over fences to chase deer. Also, if conditions are dry then you should have no problem driving your 2WD vehicle up through the neighborhood to...

Good place for White Sands

"Parking was convenient right outside the room! Staff was very welcoming and the little lobby with breakfast was perfect. Room was clean and was very comfortable! Only thing was the walls were a little thin, you could hear the neighbors upstairs and side to side. "

"This is a neat hotel and a real value. The only negative was my bed seemed a little lumpy and slanted. Otherwise everything was great. The towels were wonderful, the breakfast was very nice and the artwork throughout the property (in our room, in the gift shop and in the dining area) was wonderful. Clean, safe and comfortable. The location is very convenient for getting to White Sands National Park (coming from Guadalupe Mountains). "
