"Our stay at Sandy Shores was amazing. The house is set up perfectly for pets with balconies, a secure yard and access from the gate to the 24/7 off leash dog beach with no roads. The back fence is not quite shoulder height and is climbable, but held all our dogs without issue (2 x labrador size and 1 Jack Rusell). There are no holes in the fence for dogs to go under or through and our dogs certainly would have been looking hard for a weakness.. For the people there is an abundance of games such...

"We had a lovely stay at this wonderful home which is ideally located close enough to amenities but away from the crowds. Very comfortable with great views, a short walk to the beach. Host, Jude, was very friendly and communicated well. Will definitely be back."

"Charming cottage. Clearly a well loved family home. Clean and cheerful with a homely feel. Has everything needed for a short or long stay. Bob and Jackie are wonderful hosts. Very generous and helpful in responding to our requests: they persevered with communicating despite the frustratingly poor telecommunication coverage in the area. We - our grandkids, their parents and ourselves - were very comfortable in the house and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.. Would be very happy to stay there again. "

"Property is lovely, light filled and plenty of room Lots of cob webs on the windows, they should be better maintained, we had to buy rubbish bags and dishwasher tabs which was a bit ordinary, there is also no sound sysywhich would have been great to have. "Brown carpet and furniture has absorbed years of cigarette smoke, which hits you in the face on opening the door. Dirt, dust, hair visible on and under bunk beds. Kitchen cabinet doors fell off. Dirty dishes in cabinets. Dead and live cockroaches aplenty. Outside deck was lovely."

"Overall our stay was very pleasant and the holiday house felt like home. The kids were entertained with the variety of board games as well as the many activities. The balcony setting was also our favourite spot during meal times and watching the sunsets. This was a very enjoyable holiday and we look forward to returning again."

"Good location, unfortunately it was obvious that the property has not been let for awhile, although surfaces were clean, there was lots of cobwebs etc, could do with a bigger lounge & although it was pet friendly, the fence was not secure enough for our small dogs & it is certainly not high enough for big dogs other than that it was good"

Bedroom windows had fly screens but not attached correctly so insects could still get in. Many insects in house. Broken blinds in front room so no privacy. Linen old and mismatched. Inconsistent hot water supply. Laundry taps unusable. "
